Elliott allowed five goals on 33 shots i nthe Flyers loss in Carolina on January 7th. Since Christmas, he is 1-1-1 with a 3.82 GAA and .859 SV% and is 7-4-1 with a 3.32 GAA and .894 SV% on the road this year. With Carter Hart out for at least two weeks, the Flyers will turn to Elliott as their No.1. Since leaving St. Louis following the 2016 season, Elliott is 3-1-0 while stopping 81 of 91 shots (.890 SV%) vs. the Blues.

Russell has been a healthy scratch for the last six games but is expected to play Tuesday with Zack Kassian suspended. Russell has very little offensive upside, picking up just four assists in 30 games this season.

Smith stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Oilers win in Montreal last Thursday. Mikko Koskinen lost in Calgary on Saturday, so they’ll come back to Smith tonight vs. the Predators. He has won three in a row while stopping 102 of 109 shots (.936 SV%) gets set to face a Predators team that is 3-0-1 while scoring 3.50 goals per game in their last four road games.

Markstrom allowed one goal on 24 shots in the Canucks win in Minnesota on Sunday. Markstrom has gone 8-1-0 with a 2.90 GAA and .915 SV% in his last nine starts and gets set to face a Winnipeg team the is 2-3-1 while scoring just 2.67 goals per game in their first six games of January.

Grubauer surrendered four goals on 28 shots in the Avalanche loss in New York last Tuesday. Pavel Francouz started two of the last three games but they’ll go with Grubauer tonight vs. Dallas. He has gone 0-2-1 with a 2.62 GAA and .925 SV% in his first three games vs. the Stars in 2020.

Armia has been out since December 23rd but was a full participant in Tuesday's practice and head coach Claude Julien said he's close to returning. Julien added that he's "very doubtful" for Wednesday which makes him at least questionable for Thursday's game in Philadelphia.

Quenneville was sent down after playing nine games with the Blackhawks, keeping him waiver exempt. The 23-year-old did not register a point during his promotion but has 13 points (8G / 5A) in 19 AHL games.


Sikura was a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace John Quenneville, who was sent back to Rockford (AHL). Sikura will skate on the fourth line and comes in with one goal and two assists (three points) in seven games this season.

Lehner stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Blackhawks win over the Ducks on Saturday. It was a fantastic outing for Lehner, who has lost just once in his last five games while posting a 2.96 GAA and .921 SV%. The Senators are a lot better in Ottawa but Lehner has dominated them (7-0-3) since they traded him following the 2015 season.

Merrill played Saturday vs. the Blue Jackets, skating 17:44 TOI but will be replaced by Nicolas Hague tonight in Buffalo.


Hague was a healthy scratch vs. the Blue Jackets but will replace Jon Merrill in the lineup in Buffalo. Hague, who often plays on the third-pair and second power-play unit, has no goals on 44 shots with 10 assists in 34 games.

Marchessault has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but head coach Gerard Gallant thinks he's back tonight. Marchessault is fourth on the team in goals (15) and fifth in points (31) in 43 games.

Quick gave up two goals on 32 shots in the Kings loss to the Stars last Wednesday. Quick has lost five of his last six (1-5-0) while posting a 2.89 GAA and .901 SV% and draws a brutal matchup tonight in Tampa Bay. The Lightning have won five in a row while averaging 5.20 goals per game on home ice.

Fleury gave up three goals on 22 shots in the Golden Knights loss to the Blue Jackets on Saturday. Fleury has given up at least three goals in four straight goals, going 2-2-0 with a 3.74 GAA and .860 SV% over that stretch. He'll look get back on track against a Sabres team that he is 2-1-0 while stopping 70 of 76 shots (.921 SV%) in three games against since joining Vegas.

Kampfer has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Matt Grzelcyk in the lineup on Tuesday. He has just two assists while playing 13:22 ATOI in nine games this season.

This is the first time that Grzelcyk has been a healthy scratch this season. He was banged up on Saturday but head coach Bruce Cassidy said this is not injury-related, he just "didn't play well" on Monday and will be replaced by Steven Kampfer on Tuesday.

Lizotte stayed back in Los Angeles during the start fo the Kings road-trip and head coach Todd McLellan told reporters that he will remain at home for the duration of the trip. Jaret Anderson-Dolan is expected to remain with the Kings while Lizotte is out.
