Budaj allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Kings’ shootout loss in Winnipeg on Saturday. Budaj has gone 3-3-1 with a 2.13 GAA and .912 SV% in the month of November, which puts him at 7-5-1 with a 2.06 GAA and .914 SV% on the season. He’s a solid option vs. a Colorado team that has lost three of four playing without Matt Duchene.
Markstrom allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Canucks’ win in New York last Thursday. Ryan Miller started the last two games, but Markstrom will go tonight against the Rangers, again. Markstrom has won four of his seven starts while posting a 2.23 GAA and .915 SV%. Versus the NHL’s top offence, Markstrom is a very risky option.
Buchnevich will sit out for a second straight game because of back spasms. Buchnevich has been impressive in his first 10 games, collecting eight points (4G / 4A). Consider him day-to-day.
Kreider will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Saturday in Calgary. With Kreider out, Michael Grabner will skate in the Rangers’ top-6.
Gibson was pulled after he allowed four goals on 18 shots in the Ducks’ loss in Nashville on Saturday. Gibson has been terrible in his last two starts, allowing a combined seven goals on 36 shots (.806 SV%). The 23-year-old is 3-2-0 with a 2.77 GAA and .904 SV% on home ice this season and is a risky start against Connor McDavid and the Oilers.
Schneider stopped 21 of 23 shots in the Devils’ win over the Sabres on Saturday. Schneider has won his last two starts while stopping 52 of 56 shots (.929 SV%) and draws a decent matchup tonight. Dallas has lost four of their last six, but have averaged 3.00 goals per game over that stretched. The Stars are banged up, but Schneider may not get a lot of help with Taylor Hall and Mike Cammalleri out.
Dubnyk allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Wild’s loss in Philadelphia on Saturday. With Darcy Kuemper having started on Sunday, Dubnyk will get back in the crease tonight vs. Calgary. The 30-year-old has gone 1-3-0 despite posting a 2.04 GAA and .940 SV% in four starts in November, but is a must-start tonight.
Lehner allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Sabres loss in New Jersey on Saturday. It was one of Lehner’s worst outings of the season, but that won’t deter the Sabres from going back to him tonight in St. Louis. Lehner has a 2-3-1 record, 2.15 GAA and .931 SV% in November, but is a risky start tonight.
Crawford allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Blackhawks win over the Canadiens on Saturday. Crawford has been on quite a run as of late, winning seven of his last eight starts while posting a 1.38 GAA, .955 SV% and two shutouts. Tonight he will face a Jets team that is on quite a tear as well, having won four of their last six games.
Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win vs. the Blues on Saturday. It wasn’t Bobrovsky’s best outing of the year, but the Blue Jackets scored eight in front of him, so it didn’t matter. Bobrovsky is now 4-1-0 with a 2.84 GAA and .918 SV% in the month of November and has gone 5-2-0 with a 2.44 GAA and .930 SV% in seven starts on home ice.
Grubauer allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Capitals loss in Carolina on Saturday. Grubauer will make his second straight start because the Capitals play again tomorrow vs. the Penguins, a much more difficult opponent, which Braden Holtby will handle. Grubauer has won two of his three starts while posting a 2.01 GAA and .925 SV%.
Luongo turned aside 19 of 21 shots in the Panthers win over the Islanders on Saturday. It was an easy night for the veteran netminder, who will make his 11th appearance tonight in Montreal. Luongo is 0-3-0 with a 3.38 GAA and .888 SV% on the road this season, but he has a career .921 SV% vs. the Canadiens—if that matters.
Johnson allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Flames loss in Anaheim on November 6th. The Flames’ netminders have struggled so far this season. Johnson has a 2.93 GAA and .893 SV% in five games and will be in tough tonight in Minnesota. Devan Dubnyk is on top of his game and Zach Parise will return to their lineup.
Burmistrov missed Sunday’s game vs. Los Angeles, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Blackhawks. Burmistrov has just two assists in 15 games this season, so he isn’t worth any fantasy attention.
There’s no word on when Hall suffered the injury or how serious the lower-body ailment is, but it will keep him out of the lineup vs. Dallas. Hall has had a strong start to his Devils’ career, picking up 12 points (5G / 7A) in 14 games, so his absence will be huge for New Jersey.
Bertuzzi failed to record a point while averaging 9:58 TOI in three games with the Red Wings during his call-up. With Anthony Mantha playing well in his season debut and the Red Wings wanting to get Drew Miller back into the lineup, they have returned Bertuzzi to the AHL, where he’ll get more playing time.
Rinne has been red-hot, winning his last three starts while allowing just two goals, but he missed Monday’s practice and Tuesday’s morning skate because of a lower-body injury. With Rinne out, the Predators will start Marek Mazanec in Toronto, with Juuse Saros serving as his backup.
Spezza has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury, but will play Tuesday vs. the Devils. The Stars are slowly starting to get healthy and Spezza’s return is huge at 5-on-5 and for the power-play. Spezza comes into tonight with four goals and one assist in nine games.
Dell allowed two goals on 18 shots after replacing Martin Jones in the Sharks’ loss to the Penguins on November 5th. Dell has only made one start this season—he stopped 21 of 23 shots in a win over the Islanders back on October 18th. The 27-year-old has a short NHL resume, but could make for a decent spot-start option tonight.
