Kinkaid allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Devils overtime loss to the Red Wings on Saturday. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for Kinkaid, who is now 3-2-1 with a 2.45 GAA, .923 SV% and one shutout in November. Tonight he is facing a Canadiens team that is 3-2-2 while averaging 3.57 goals per game in their last seven games.

McElhinney allowed just one goal on 34 shots in the Hurricanes win over the Devils on Sunday. McElhinney will make his third straight start tonight, facing the Maple Leafs, who put him on waivers at the start of the year. Overall, McElhinney has been steady, posting a 2.51 GAA and .903 SV% across six appearances.

Bishop failed to record a point in his first seven career NHL games during his call-up, but returns to the AHL where he has five points (3G / 2A) in nine games. Bishop was returned to the AHL to create room so the Hurricanes could activate Victor Rask (hand) from IR.

Rask has missed the first 20 games of the season after undergoing surgery on his hand in the preseason. Rask suffered a freak kitchen accident, slicing two of his fingers with a knife. His activation from IR makes his available for Wednesday’s game, but there’s no indication whether or not he will actually make his season debut tonight or not.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 23 shots in Colorado’s win over the Bruins last Wednesday. Varlamov has won two in a row and is now 2-3-0 with a 3.46 GAA and .881 SV% in November. He has a chance to extend his winning streak to three against Kings team that is last in goals per game (2.00).


Radil is a 28-year-old forward who spent the previous three seasons in the KHL. Radil has picked up just six points (1G / 5A) in 11 AHL games this season and likely won’t get into a game during his call-up.

Georgiev allowed one goal on six shots after replacing Henrik Lundqvist in the Rangers loss to the Islanders last Thursday. With the Islanders in town tonight, Georgiev will get another crack at them. The 22-year-old netminder is 3-2-0 with a 3.60 GAA and .894 SV% in the NHL this season and 2-1-0 with a 3.01 GAA and .902 SV% in three AHL starts.

Rask has missed the first 20 games of the season, but returned to practice on Tuesday and will be in the lineup “as soon as possible,” according to head coach Rod Brind’Amour. Rask will continue to practice with the Hurricanes but his return date is still up in the air.

Jones allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Sharks loss to the Maple Leafs last Thursday. Jones’ numbers in November are pretty rough—4-2-2, 3.38 GAA and .883 SV%. As poor as he’s been this month, he is 6-2-1 on home-ice and faces a team that just fired their coach, so they’re obviously not playing good hockey right now.

Khudobin stopped nine of 10 shots after replacing an injured Ben Bishop in the Stars loss in New York on Monday. With Bishop set to miss the next week, Khudobin should start the next three games, starting with tonight’s game in Los Angeles. The 32-year-old is 1-2-1 with a 2.08 GAA and .937 SV% in four games on the road this season.

Anderson surrendered six goals on 22 shots in the Senators loss to the Panthers on Monday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Anderson, who is now 5-3-1 with a ridiculous 4.16 GAA and .893 SV%. It’s been a struggle for him in six road starts this season—2-2-1, 4.38 GAA, .884 SV%.

Ericsson has missed the previous seven games and is nearing a return, but is not expected to play Wednesday vs. the Bruins. Ericsson is next available to play in the Red Wings' back-to-back on Friday and Saturday.

Vanek has missed the last eight games, but is expected to play Wednesday vs. the Bruins. Vanek has had a slow start offensively, picking up just two goals and three assists (five points) in 12 games this season.

Hischier has missed the last four games with what he said was a hand injury on Tuesday. Hischier will likely be re-united with Taylor Hall on the Devils top-line vs. Montreal on Wednesday. He has 12 points (3G / 9A) in 15 games so far this season.

Juulsen was hit in the face by the puck on two separate occasions in just 3:12 TOI. With Juulsen out at least a week, look for Karl Alzner or Xavier Ouellet to draw back into the Canadiens’ lineup on Wednesday.

Bishop was forced to leave Monday’s game in New York with a lower-body injury. Bishop is dealing with a muscle strain and will miss at least one week. Anton Khudobin will take over as the Stars No.1 netminder and Landon Bow is expected to be recall as his backup.

Orpik has missed the entire month of November (10 games) and will miss at least one more month. Orpik will be re-evaluated in mid-to-late December, but could be sidelined until early-January.

Trocheck suffered a gruesome injury in Ottawa on Monday night and could miss the rest of the 2018-19 season. The Panthers likely won’t release an official timetable until after Trocheck’s surgery, but their centre depth just took a huge hit. Henrik Borgstrom could be recalled to fill-in for the 25-year-old.
