He has struggled outside of Carolina, going 2-2-1 with a 3.53 GAA, .882 SV% and one shutout in five road outings this season.


Saros gave up three goals on 10 shots in relief of Pekka Rinne in the Predators 7-2 loss to Chicago on Saturday. It was an ugly outing for the entire team and dropped Saros' November SV% to .895. He really hasn't played well this season, so he's not the great spot-start option he's been in recent years. Winnipeg is also on a four-game road winning streak and have won six of their last seven away from home while averaging 3.71 goals per game.




Varlamov allowed four goals on 28 shots in Colorado's win over the Maple Leafs last Wednesday. Thomas Greiss started Saturday but the goalie rotation will continue tonight in Pittsburgh. The 31-year-old has gone 2-0 while allowing just one goal on 60 shots (.983 SV%) in his two road starts. He allowed four goals on 39 shots in a 4-3 OT loss in his first start vs. the Penguins.

He will be tasked with trying to end Toronto's five-game losing streak but has a tough matchup in Vegas, where the Golden Knights are averaging 3.64 goals per game.

Price allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Canadiens win in Washington last Friday. Keith Kinkaid started Saturday, so Price gets the nod Tuesday in Columbus. Price has won three in a row while stopping 90 of the 96 shots (.938 SV%) that he's faced. One of those wins came against the Blue Jackets, who he'll face again tonight--he stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over Columbus last Tuesday.

Koskinen surrendered five goals on 36 shots in the Oilers overtime loss to the Stars on Saturday. Through 10 starts, Koskinen has just one loss in regulation while posting a 2.42 GAA and .921 SV%. He's played well on the road, going 3-1-0 with a. 2.22 GAA and .924 SV% but has a tough assignment in San Jose. The Sharks have won four straight while scoring 4.50 goals per game.

Francouz has missed the last two games but will serve as Philipp Grubauer's backup on Tuesday. Colorado will get both of their goalies back tonight, but look for Francouz to start soon to ensure that Grubauer eases back into things.

Grubauer has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but will start Tuesday in Calgary. Prior to getting hurt, Grubauer lost three in a row while posting a 3.36 GAA and .905 SV%. He draws a nice matchup in his return, as the Flames have lost four in a row and have been shutout in back-to-back games.
