Mazanec has posted a 5.04 GAA and .806 SV% in two starts this season, so he went to Milwaukee (AHL) briefly, where his struggles continued. The 25-year-old went 1-0-1 with a 3.90 GAA and .849 SV% in two starts with the Admirals, but will start over Juuse Saros tonight with Pekka Rinne banged up. Avoid Mazanec against a strong Maple Leafs offence.

Radulov missed the Canadiens’ morning skate and will not play on Tuesday due to an illness. With Radulov out, Philip Danault will be moved up to the Canadiens’ top line.
Dell allowed two goals on 18 shots after replacing Martin Jones in the Sharks’ loss to the Penguins on November 5th. Dell has only made one start this season—he stopped 21 of 23 shots in a win over the Islanders back on October 18th. The 27-year-old has a short NHL resume, but could make for a decent spot-start option tonight.
Hellebuyck allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Jets’ win over the Kings on Saturday. Hellebuyck has won his last three starts, while allowing two goals in each game and posting a .929 SV%. Despite a nice run as of late, he draws a rough matchup tonight vs. the visiting Blackhawks—Chicago has gone 8-0-1 in their last nine games.
Grubauer allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Capitals loss in Carolina on Saturday. It looks like Grubauer will make his second straight start because the Capitals play again tomorrow vs. the Penguins, a much more difficult opponent, which Braden Holtby will handle. Grubauer has won two of his three starts while posting a 2.01 GAA and .925 SV%.
Ward allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Hurricanes’ win over the Capitals on Saturday. Ward has been excellent in November, going 2-1-2 with a1.93 GAA and .932 SV% in five starts. Mason allowed one goal on 20 shots after replacing Michal Neuvirth in the Flyers’ win over the Wild on Saturday. With Neuvirth out for at least one month, Mason will start tonight and should see a lot of starts going forward. Faulk has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. San Jose. Faulk has collected three goals and three assists in 11 games so far this season.
Luongo turned aside 19 of 21 shots in the Panthers win over the Islanders on Saturday. It was an easy night for the veteran netminder, who will make his 11th appearance tonight in Montreal. Luongo is 0-3-0 with a 3.38 GAA and .888 SV% on the road this season, but he has a career .921 SV% vs. the Canadiens—if that matters.
Andersen allowed four goals on 49 shots in the Maple Leafs’ loss in Pittsburgh on Saturday. Bishop allowed three goals on 20 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Sharks on Saturday. With Andrei Vasilevskiy starting last night, look for Bishop to face the Red Wings tonight. Bishop hasn’t had the best first 10 games, posting a 5-5-0 record with a 2.93 GAA and .903 SV%. However, he has a good matchup against a Red Wings team that is struggling to score right now.
Parise missed the last six games with a foot injury, but he returned to practice on Monday and will return to the lineup vs. Calgary. Parise skated on the third line with Erik Haula and Jason Pominville yesterday, so expect him to start there. Parise has two goals and four assists (six points) in eight games this season.
Radulov stayed home during the morning skate because of an illness, so his status for Tuesday’s game is in question. Consider Radulov as a game-time decision.
Mason allowed one goal on 20 shots after replacing Michal Neuvirth in the Flyers’ win over the Wild on Saturday. With Neuvirth out for at least one month, Mason will start tonight and should see a lot of starts going forward. Mason has gone 3-2-1 with a 3.08 GAA and .892 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances on home ice this season.
Price stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Canadiens’ shutout win over the Red Wings on Saturday. Al Montoya started in Chicago on Sunday, so Price will go tonight vs. the Panthers. Price is now 10-0-0 with a 1.40 GAA, .957 SV% and two shutouts. This is getting ridiculous, he may never lose…Nine of his starts have come on home ice, where he has a 1.34 GAA and .960 SV%.
The Sabres have a number of forwards banged up, so Rodrigues earned his first call-up of the season. Rodrigues has picked up three goals and five assists (eight points) in 13 games with Rochester and tonight he will make his NHL season debut.
