Hutton will start Saturday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Hutton stopped eight of nine shots after replacing Jake Allen in the Blues’ 5-0 loss in New York on Tuesday. Hutton has posted a 2.46 GAA and .918 SV% in two starts and one relief appearance. He’ll take on a Blue Jackets team, that is coming off of a 10-0 beat down of the Canadiens last night. For Hutton's sake, maybe Columbus used up all of their offence yesterday.

Carter Hutton
Gibson was the first goalie off of the ice at the Ducks' morning skate.

Gibson allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Ducks’ loss to the Penguins on Wednesday. It has been an inconsistent start to the season for Gibson, who has won just four times in nine starts while posting a 2.58 GAA and .911 SV%. As choppy as his play has been, he should make for a fine start tonight vs. the Coyotes.

John Gibson
Stone (upper-body) practice on Friday; could return to the lineup on Saturday.

Stone missed Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Tuesday, but he was back skating on the Senators’ top-line on Friday and head coach Guy Boucher is hopeful that he will be available on Saturday. Stone has had a slow start to the season, having recorded just one goal and four assists in nine games.

Mark Stone
Hudler (illness) missed Friday’s practice; doubtful for the Stars’ home-and-home with Chicago.

Hudler continues to battle an illness that has cost him six of the last eight games and it looks like he’ll miss both games vs. Chicago this weekend. Monitor Hudler’s status next week.

Jiri Hudler
Luongo will start Saturday vs. the Capitals.

Luongo allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Panthers’ 2-1 loss to the Bruins on Tuesday. Luongo has lost his last three starts while posting a 2.73 GAA and .899 SV% and draws another rough matchup tonight in Washington. The Capitals have won four in a row while averaging 3.75 goals per game.

Roberto Luongo
Raanta will start Saturday in Boston.

Raanta allowed one goal on 32 shots in the Rangers’ win over the Lightning on Sunday. Raanta has won each of his first two starts while posting a 2.51 GAA and .921 SV% and will make his third start tonight in Boston. The Bruins have won three in a row, six of 10, but are averaging just 2.30 goals per game (t-25th in NHL).

Antti Raanta
Armia (lower-body) left Thursday’s game; questionable for Friday’s game in Detroit.

Armia left Thursday’s game after playing 13:21 and did not return. There is no word whether or not Armia will be in the lineup on Friday—head coach Paul Maurice will not address the media until around 5 p.m. ET—Armia’s status will not be known until then.

Joel Armia
Perreault (upper-body) left Thursday’s game; questionable for Friday’s game in Detroit.

Perreault left Thursday’s game after playing 12:02 and did not return. The Jets will not hold a morning skate prior to Friday’s game, so there won’t be an update on Perreault’s status until around 5 p.m. ET when head coach Paul Maurice addresses the media.

Mathieu Perreault
The Jets have placed Tyler Myers (lower-body) on injured reserve.

Myers has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury and his move to IR opened up a roster spot for Nic Petan to be recalled. It also means that he will not be in the lineup in Detroit on Friday.

Tyler Myers
The Jets have recalled Nic Petan from Manitoba (AHL).

Petan, 21, was a second round pick (43rd overall) in 2013 and has appeared in 26 career NHL games. Pecan has picked up four goals and one assist in nine games with Manitoba this season and could make his season debut tonight in Detroit. The Jets lost Mathieu Perreault and Joel Armia to injuries on Thursday and both are questionable for Friday.

Nic Petan
Mrazek will start Friday vs. the Jets.

Mrazek allowed four goals on 40 shots in the Red Wings’ overtime loss in Philadelphia on Wednesday. Mrazek has now allowed eight goals on the last 50 shots that he has faced (.840 SV%). Despite some recent struggles, he draws a good matchup tonight vs. a Jets team that has lost three in a row and are playing their fourth game in six nights.

Petr Mrazek
Kronwall (knee) will make his season debut on Friday.

Kronwall has missed the first 11 games of the season with a debilitating knee injury, but will make his debut tonight vs. the Jets. Kronwall used to be a solid fantasy defenseman, but his injury concerns and advancing age limit his potential in 2016-17. He had 26 points (3G / 23A) in 64 games last year and will be featured on the Red Wings’ top power-play unit tonight.

Niklas Kronwall
Mrazek is in the starter's crease at the Red Wings' morning skate.

Petr Mrazek
Bobrovsky will start Friday vs. the Canadiens.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win over the Stars on Tuesday. Bobrovsky has won four of his last six starts while posting an impressive 1.50 GAA, .954 SV% and two shutouts. He’s been great, but tonight he faces a Montreal team that has not lost in regulation and sit fourth in the NHL in scoring (3.40 G/PG).
