Mrazek will make his 10th straight start on Saturday.

Mrazek stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Red Wings 3-0 shutout in over the Avalanche on Thursday. He has won seven of his previous nine starts while posting a 2.67 GAA and .906 SV%. Detroit’s crease is starting to get crowded, but this could be his last start before heading back to the AHL. He makes for a must-start with an excellent matchup in Arizona.

Kinkaid will start in Montreal on Saturday.

Kinkaid allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Devils 3-1 win over the Panthers last Saturday. With Cory Schneider making 33 saves last night, Kinkaid will go tonight vs. the Habs. Kinkaid is 2-3-3 with a 2.34 GAA and .919 SV% on the season. Despite some short-term success, this is a dangerous spot-start matchup.

Getzlaf (lower-body) is not on the ice for warmups; he will not play tonight.

Getzlaf, who was listed as a game-time decision, is not on the ice for warmups so he will miss a second straight game. Expect Rickard Rakell to centre the top line again tonight with Ryan Kesler's line also eating up big minutes.

Ryan Getzlaf
Lundqivst will be sidelined for three weeks with a vascular injury.

There were reports earlier today that Lundqvist would miss at least one month, but the details were sparse. He was struck by a puck in the neck on Saturday and suffered some sort of damage to the blood vessels. He will miss three weeks and then be re-evaluated at that time. In the mean time, Cam Talbot receives a huge boost in fantasy value as he becomes this Rangers starter for the next three weeks.

The Ducks did not have a morning skate because of the back-to-back set, so there is no word on their starting goalie. Coach Bruce Boudreau may announce starter when the team gets to the rink at 5 p.m ET.

With Frederik Andersen making 44 saves last night and Philipp Grubauer potentially going for the Caps, we could see Bryzgalov in the Ducks crease for the sixth time this season.

Ilya Bryzgalov
Grubauer is probable to start for the Capitals.

The Capitals recalled Grubauer this morning and sent Andre Burakovsky down to make room, they wouldn’t do that if they didn’t plan on giving him the nod. There is no official word, but given the back-to-back situation it looks like Grubauer will make his season debut. He has gone 16-9-4 with a 2.03 GAA and .924 SV% in Hershey (AHL).

Philipp Grubauer
Varlamov will also start on Sunday in Winnipeg.

Varlamov made 28 saves on 29 shots in the in the Avs’ loss to the Wild last night. He will go again tonight having lost two straight despite stopping 54 of 56 (.964 SV%) shots. Tonight he faces a Jets team who have lost six in a row, so get Varly in your lineup.

He will try and carry that success back to Dallas where he is 2-7-0 with a 3.79 GAA and .875 SV% this season. He could get the start in the front-end of the back-to-back tomorrow in Buffalo.
