Fisher (illness) returned to practice on Monday.

Fisher missed Saturday’s game vs. the Penguins because of food poisoning, but he was back on the ice for practice this afternoon and it looks like he will be available for Wednesday’s game in Anaheim.

Mike Fisher
Crawford will start Monday vs. the Flames.

Crawford allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Blackhawks’ loss in Columbus on Friday. Scott Darling started on Saturday, so they’ll go back to Crawford tonight vs. Calgary. Crawford has won once in four starts while posting a 3.34 GAA and .886 SV% to start the season. Tonight he faces a Flames team that is 1-4-1 with 3.00 goals per game.

Corey Crawford
The Predators have recalled Matt Irwin from Milwaukee (AHL).

The Predators have been battling food poisoning, so they’ve recalled Irwin to serve as a seventh defenseman on their upcoming road-trip. The 28-year-old defenseman has one assist in four AHL games this season and 51 points (16G / 25A) in 155 career NHL games with the Sharks and the Bruins.

Matt Irwin
Mason will start Monday in Montreal.

Mason allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Flyers’ win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. It was Mason’s first win of the season and he now sits at 1-2-1 with a 3.35 GAA and .882 SV% in his first four starts. Tonight he will face a Canadiens’ team in Montreal—Mason was 9-12-4 with a 2.84 GAA and .909 SV% on the road last year.

Steve Mason
The Bruins have recalled Malcolm Subban from Providence (AHL).

Subban, 22, has gone 0-3-1 with a 4.50 GAA and .846 SV% in his first four games with Providence this season. With Tuukka Rask still sidelined with general soreness, Subban can be expected to backup Anton Khudobin on Tuesday and could start the tail-end of the back-to-back if Rask is still out. Subban allowed three goals on six shots in his NHL debut.

Malcolm Subban
Price will start Monday vs. the Flyers.

Price allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Canadiens’ win in Boston on Saturday. Price has won each of his first two starts while stopping 46 of 50 shots (.920 SV%). Tonight he will make his third consecutive starts and it will come against the Flyers. Philadelphia is off to a 2-2-1 start while averaging 3.80 goals per game.

Carey Price
Mrazek was in the starter’s crease on Monday; expected to start on Tuesday.

Mrazek allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Red Wings’ win over the Predators on Friday. Jimmy Howard started and shutout the Sharks on Saturday, but it looks like Mrazek will go on Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes. Mrazke has won each of his last two starts while stopping 61 of 65 shots (.939 SV%). Carolina is 1-2-2 while averaging 3.20 goals per game in their first five games.

Petr Mrazek
Crosby (concussion) has been cleared for contact.

Crosby missed the first six games of the season, but he practiced in a regular jersey on Monday and appears to be nearing a return. Being cleared for contact was the next step in Crosby’s recovery, so signs are pointing towards him potentially returning this week.

Sidney Crosby
The Devils have sent Blake Speers back to Sault Ste. Marie (OHL).

Speers, 19, failed to record a point in three games with the Devils, so he has been sent back to the OHL. The 2015 third round pick had 74 points (26G / 48A) in 68 games with the Greyhounds last year.

Blake Speers
Gibson led the Ducks onto the ice for warmups.

Tonight will be his first start on home ice—he was 13-7-3 with a 1.80 GAA and .930 SV% at the Honda Center last year.

John Gibson
Lindberg (hip) will return to the Rangers’ lineup on Sunday.

Lindberg missed the first five games of the season as he recovered from offseason hip surgery. Lindberg will take Chris Kreider’s (neck) spot in the lineup and is expected to skate on a line with Brandon Pirri and Josh Jooris.
