Greiss allowed four goals on 56 shots in the Islanders win in Montreal on January 15th. Jaroslav Halak started the last six games, including last night, so Greiss is expected to go tonight in Toronto. Greiss is 5-5-0 with a 4.25 GAA and .888 SV% on the road this season and he’ll be in tough against a good Toronto team with a tired squad in front of him.

Bernier allowed four goals on 26 shots in Colorado’s loss in Vancouver on Tuesday. Bernier has lost three in a row (0-2-1) while posting a 3.35 GAA and .899 SV%. Bernier had a good run but the Avs have cooled off over the last week. Tonight he faces an Oilers team that has won four of five but will be without Cam Talbot tonight.

Montoya allowed one goal on 12 shots after replacing Cam Talbot in the Oilers loss to the Sabres last Tuesday. Tonight he gets his first start with the Oilers and comes in having stopped 43 of 45 shots (.956 SV%) in three relief appearances. He catches a break with Nathan MacKinnon not in the Avalanche lineup tonight.

Chlapik did not appear in a game during this call-up but has two assists in 10 games with the Senators so far this season. The 20-year-old returns to Belleville where he has 16 points (6G / 10A) in 31 games this season.

Walman, 21, did not appear in a game during his time with the Blues and returns to Chicago with just two goals and 11 assists (13 points) in 40 games.

Sundqvist was a heathy scratch for the last six games and will head to San Antonio to get some playing time. Sundqvist has just three assist in 30 games this season and will make his Rampage debut this week—he had 46 points (20G / 26A) in 63 AHL games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last season.

Gibson was forced to leave Tuesday’s game with under eight minutes left after being drilled by a Patrice Bergeron shot. The two injures are reportedly unrelated but his absence on Wednesday makes him questionable for Thursday’s game in Ottawa. Gibson was great yesterday, stopping all 25 shots that he faced before having to leave, so they’ll want him in the crease tomorrow.

Dell allowed six goals on 29 shots in the Sharks loss to the Rangers last Thursday. With Martin Jones starting last night, Dell is expected to be back in tonight in Detroit. Dell has been good for most of the season, but has struggled in his last two starts, allowing a combined 11 goals on 52 shots (.789 SV%). However, he has a pretty solid road matchup to try and get back on track.

Burgdoefer made his Senators debut last Tuesday but was a healthy scratch for the last two games. Burgdoefer returns to Belleville, where he has five goals and seven assists (12 points) in 45 games this season.

The Oilers did not have an update on Talbot’s status after the practice session so his status for Thursday’s game is up in the air. Keep an eye on the netminder as the Oilers hit the ice for their morning skate tomorrow.

Condon surrendered three goals on 44 shots in the Senators loss to the Bruins last Thursday. It is hard to pinpoint this one on Condon, but the 27-year-old has now given up at least three goals in eight of his last nine outings—he is 1-7-1 with a 4.09 GAA and .885 SV% over that stretch. Condon will be in tough again tonight with the Ducks in town—Anaheim has won five of their last six.

Kinkaid turned aside 27 of 28 shots in the Devils win in Buffalo on Tuesday. It was a solid return to the crease for Kinkaid, who was shelled for three goals on seven shots in his previous outing. Overall, he was a steady 3-1-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .908 SV% in five January starts and will continue to get a run in the Devils’ crease with Cory Schneider sidelined.

Capobianco, 20, has 22 points (2G / 20A) in 35 games with the Roadrunners this season and has been recalled to take Jason Demers’ spot on the roster. With Demers on IR, Capobianco could play in his second career game on Thursday.

Demers was hurt last Thursday vs. the Blue Jackets and lands on IR so he won’t play on Thursday. Kyle Capobianco has been recalled from Tucson (AHL) to take his spot on the roster.
