The Canadiens hav assigned Dustin Tokarski to Hamilton for a two-game conditioning stint.

Tokarski has not played since November 29th and the Canadiens have a back-to-back following the Christmas break, so they want to get Tokarski a few games so he will be ready to go following the break. With Tokarski being sent back, that all but guarantees that Price will start tomorrow and Tuesday.

Regehr left Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Regehr left late in the second period after he blocked a shot according to coach Sutter. Regehr was not credited with a blocked shot in the victory – not that that should discount Sutter’s information – though he did compile four hits. Based on several observations, there’s the possibility – not certainty – that the injury could be related to Regehr’s hand.
