Enroth stopped 41 of 44 shots in the Sabres win over the Canadiens. Enroth led Buffalo to back-to-back wins over Montreal and he has now won four of his last five with a 1.69 GAA and .952 SV%. He has been hot as of late, but draws a rough matchup vs. the NHL’s highest scoring team.

Quick was the first goalie off at the Kings morning skate.

Quick gave up three tallies on 24 shots in the Kings’ 4-1 loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday. It has been tough sledding for Quick owners in the last week and a half. He has allowed eight goals on 47 shots (.830 SV%) and saw his backup Martin Jones get back-to-back starts last week. Quick draws a tough matchup vs. the visiting Bruins.

Letestu tallied three goals and two assists for five points in nine games before being sidelined in late-October. The 29-year-old has registered 54 goals and 65 assists (119 points) and 53 penalty minutes in 273 career NHL games. He is expected to be out until mid-January.

Crawford (lower-body) will not play on Wednesday.

Crawford did not skate this morning because of a lower-body injury. The ailment will keep him out of the crease tomorrow, which means Antti Raanta will get the call. Crawford will be evaluated today and a more detailed injury report should be released in the next 24 hours.

Corey Crawford
Raanta starts Wednesday vs. the Blues.

Raanta will make his first start since October 25th. He was in-line to get a start on November 22nd, but got sick and couldn’t play. In three starts this season he is 1-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .933 SV%, but draws a very difficult matchup vs. a Blues team who are 7-2-1 in their last 10.

Antti Raanta
The Blues have officially signed Martin Brodeur to a one-year contract.

Brodeur started practicing with the Blues last Friday and has obviously impressed enough to earn a one-year deal. Brodeur could get a start on the Blues current road-trip. The 42-year-old goaltender is one of the greatest in NHL history but it will be weird to see him in anything other than Red and Black. He went 19-14-6 with a 2.51 GAA, .901 SV% with three shutouts with the Devils last season. His contract is believed to have performance bonuses.

Martin Brodeur
Gomez will make his season debut on Tuesday.

Gomez had two goals and 10 assists (12 points) in 46 games with the Panthers last season. His last four seasons have been a struggle, but he returns to the team who he started his NHL career with. He is expected to centre the top-line with Patrik Elias and Jaromir Jagr.

Miller is the Canucks' confirmed starter.

Ryan Miller
Ryan (finger) will not play on Tuesday.

Ryan will miss his second game with a fractured finger, but there is some silver lining here for Ryan owners. A severe fractured finger could have sidelined Ryan for weeks, but his presence on the ice the last two days suggests that he won’t be sidelined for long.

Bobby Ryan
The Penguins have placed Beau Bennett (lower-body) on injured reserve.

Bennett will miss his fourth consecutive game with a lower-body injury that he suffered on November 24th. The Penguins have yet to release a timetable for Bennett’s return, but this afternoon they have moved him to IR to make roster room.

Pekka Rinne

Nabokov surrendered five goals on 36 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Islanders on November 18th. Workhorse Ben Bishop has started the last five games, but Nabby gets back in goal tonight vs. the Sabres. It is a tremendous matchup, making Nabokov a great spot-start.

Sharp (leg) has returned to Blackhawks practice.

Originally, Sharp was expected to return to the Blackhawks’ lineup tomorrow vs. the Blues, but it looks like his owners will have to wait a little bit longer. After Wednesday, Chicago has a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday, Sharp could return in one of those games.
