Enroth stopped 19 of 20 shots in the Sabres’ 4-1 win over the Sharks on Tuesday. It was an uncharacteristically easy night for Enroth, who shouldn’t get used to that kind of evening. He is 2-8-1 with a 3.63 GAA and .900 SV% and should be avoided on the road vs. Alex Ovechkin and the Caps.
Howard stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Red Wings 5-0 win over the Blue Jackets on Tuesday. He was given Thursday night off, so he should be fresh for the Wings’ third meeting with the Maple Leafs. They have won the previous two, but Howie only started one—stopping 23 of 24 in a 4-1 win.
Raanta will be back in the crease after waiting nearly one month between starts. In his last start he allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Blues on October 25th. He has gone 1-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .933 SV% in his brief time this season. He draws a strong matchup but the long layoff may lead to some rust.
Khokhlachev was recalled on Thursday on an emergency basis, it was presumably to replace Krejci in the lineup tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. He has five goals and 11 assists in 15 games for Providence.
Krejci continues to be hampered by a lower-body injury, believed to be related to his hip. This will be the seventh game he has missed in the last nine Bruins game. He will be replaced by Alexander Khoklachev.
Bortuzzo served as a healthy scratch in the Penguins win over Montreal on Tuesday. He had played in the previous six games, recorded one goal and two assists with seven PIMs. Bortuzzo will be paired with Rob Scuderi.
Svedberg allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Bruins loss to the Habs on November 13th. Svedberg is 2-3-0 with a 2.41 GAA and .917 SV% in five starts and seven appearances and could make for a strong spot-start against a the 6-11-1 Blue Jackets.
Everberg suffered the shoulder injury on a third period hit from Capitals' forward Tom Wilson. With Jamie McGinn sidelined as well, the Avalanche will recall a forward from Lake Erie.
Tanguay suffered the fracture in the Avs' loss to the Capitals on Thursday. Tanguay will not play Saturday against Carolina and no prognosis on how long he'll miss has yet to be determined. Tanguay, the team's leading goal scorer with seven, took a slap shot to the face from Washington's Alex Ovechkin and was briefly hospitalized. "Alex texted me and said he will be back as soon as he can," Roy said.
Dillon, 24, is a big-boy at 6-foot-3, 225 lbs. and bring some size and physicality to the Sharks blueline. Demers is a better puck-moving defenseman, but Dillon is two years younger and the Sharks have a number of young offensive blueliners in their system. Dillon will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
Demers, 26, has three assists and a minus-6 rating in 20 games with the Sharks. Demers addresses the Stars need for a right-handed D-man. He is just two of seven blueliners on the Stars' squad that is a righty. He is a better puck moving defenseman than Dillon, but obviously is not nearly as big.
Berra allowed three goals on 23 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Capitals on Thursday. With Semyon Varlamov still out, Berra will get back-to-back starts for the second time in November. Tonight will mark Berra’s fourth start at the Pepsi Center, he has gone 1-1-1 with a 3.23 GAA and .897 SV% in his first three.
Drasaitl has a career-high ice-time of 15:22, but he will likely top that tonight while playing with Hall and Purcell. He has five points (2G / 3A) with a minus-6 rating in the first 19 games of his NHL career.
Marincin has been scratched for the last five games, but will slide back onto the third pair with Mark Fayne tonight vs. the visiting Devils. He has one assist and a minus-3 rating in nine games this season.
Fasth was pulled after he allowed three goals on 17 shots in the first period of the Oilers loss to the the Predators on November 11th. He sat for the following three games, but will be back in tonight vs. the Devils. Fasth is 2-3-1 with a 3.64 GAA and .885 on the season, but tonight will mark his first start on home ice.
Lehner stopped 33 of 35 shots in the Senators 3-2 win over the Predators on Thursday. He made a number of key saves that preserved his fourth win of the season. Lehner has been rewarded with back-to-back starts, but draws a really rough matchup with the 12-6-1 Blues in town.
Corrado, 21, has been recalled because Dan Hamhuis suffered a lower-body injury on Thursday night. He has appeared in 11 games with the Comets this season recording three points (2-1-3) and 13 penalty minutes. Last season he appeared in 15 games for the Canucks, collecting one goal.
Hamhuis' injury was a weird one. He went down while trying to turn and appeared to hurt his leg. He was seen limping noticeably after the game and the Canucks recalled Frank Corrado this afternoon, which suggests Hamhuis is going to miss some time.
Miller has been out since mid-October with a dislocated right shoulder. He was a healthy scratch on Tuesday, but with Adam McQuaid out for 6-8 weeks, Miller should slide into the lineup tonight.
