Ramo starts as expected on Tuesday.

Ramo was great in his season debut. He stopped 38 of 40 shots in a 5-2 victory over the Oilers. Ramo goes tonight and Jonas Hiller will go tomorrow, so it looks like the Flames will continue to split up the starts until one of the netminders forces his way into the number-1 job.

Karri Ramo
Luongo leads the Panthers onto the ice for warmups; he starts vs. Anderson and the Sens.

Anderson allowed three goals on 37 shots in Ottawa's 3-2 loss to the Predators on opening night. He sat against the Lightning, but gets back in goal with a nice matchup today vs. Florida. The Panthers have struggled to keep the puck out of the net in the early part of the season, so Anderson has a good chance to chalk up his first W of the year.

Roberto Luongo
Nyquist is skating on the Red Wings top-line with Henrik Zetterberg and Johan Franzen.

Nyquist finished Saturday's game on the top-line and it looks like he will start Wednesday's game with Hank and 'The Mule'. Nyquist has picked up right where he left off last season, scoring a goal in each of his first two games.

Gustav Nyquist
Ramo is the probable starter for the Flames on Tuesday.

Ramo was great in his season debut. He stopped 38 of 40 shots in a 5-2 victory over the Oilers. Jonas Hiller started on Saturday vs. the Blues, so it looks like the Flames will continue to split up the starts until one of the netminders forces his way into the number-1 job.

Crawford "is going to play a lot of games" says head coach Joel Quenneville.

The Blackhawks have just two back-to-backs in their next 18 games, which could set Crawford up to start 16 of the 18 contests. "It’s important we get off to a strong start," said coach Quenneville "When you've got a top guy and you've got time, you might as well play him." Crawford is off to a strong start this season, winning his first two starts with a 1.93 GAA and .930 SV%.

Corey Crawford
Versteeg (lower-body) is getting close to getting back on the ice.

Less than a week ago the Blackhawks announced that Versteeg would miss three weeks with a lower-body injury, but if he is back on the ice in the next couple of days, that timetable could be cut a little short.

Kris Versteeg
Schneider will be between the pipes on Tuesday.

Schneider stopped 28 of 29 shots in a 5-1 win over the Panthers on Saturday. Schneider moved to 2-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .926 SV%. The most surprising thing is that the Devils have scored 11 goals in the first two games after averaging just 2.40 G/PG (27th in NHL) a season ago.

Cory Schneider
Berglund was back on the ice on Monday and should be in the lineup on Thursday vs. Los Angeles.

Berglund missed Saturday's game because he was banged up from a slash on Friday. The injury was not believed to be serious and should not keep him out vs. the Kings. He was reunited with T.J Oshie and David Backes on the Blues top line.

Patrik Berglund
Heatley (groin) skated in Anaheim on Sunday.

The Ducks are optimistic that Heatley will be returning to the lineup for Anaheim’s October 26 contest at Honda Center against the San Jose Sharks. Heatley suffered a groin injury in a preseason game vs. Los Angeles on September 28.

Dany Heatley
Eakin practiced on the Stars top line with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn on Monday.

Head coach Lindy Ruff said he is considering shaking up the lines for Tuesday's game, including putting Eakin on that top line. Seguin and Benn have no points and are a combined minus-6 so far. If Eakin gets moved up that should certainly help him produce and makes him a nice one-day fantasy league option.

Cody Eakin
Neuvirth starts vs. the Ducks.

Neuvirth will make his season debut tonight after Jhonas Enroth got the first two starts of the season. Neuvirth was 4-8-2 with a 2.78 GAA and .921 SV% last season, but should not be considered this after noon with the Ducks in town.

Michal Neuvirth
Varlamov starts on Tuesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Varlamov allowed two goals on 33 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Wild on Saturday. Overall he allowed seven goals on 71 shots (.901 SV%) in the home-and-home series while the Avalanche scored zero goals. On Tuesday, he takes on a Leafs team coming off of a big win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Semyon Varlamov
Dwyer (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

Dwyer joins and already crowded injury report in Carolina. He will not play vs. the Sabres and either with Eric Staal (upper-body), Jeff Skinner (concussion) or Jordan Staal (leg). Dwyer has no points and a minus-1 rating in two games this season.

Pat Dwyer
Svedberg leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups; he starts vs. the Avalanche.

This will be Svedberg's first start of the season and the second NHL game of his career. The 25-year-old netminder was 25-15-4 with a 2.63 GAA and .910 SV% with the Providence Bruins (AHL) last season. He will start against an Avalanche team still searching for their first goal of the season.

Niklas Svedberg
Skinner (concussion) skated by himself Monday and could be ready to play on Thursday.

Skinner has not played this season, but the Hurricanes expect him to be on the ice with the team on Tuesday and possibly make his season debut on Thursday. Eric Staal was injured over the weekend, so getting Skinner back in the lineup will be huge for the Hurricanes.
