Malone will make his Rangers debut on Tuesday.

Malone will start his Rangers career on the fourth line with Dominic Moore and Tanner Glass, but he will also play on the Rangers' top power-play unit. Malone had his trouble with the law last season due to cocaine possession but he is a six-time 20-goal scorer and could help the Rangers power-play. He had just 15 points (5G / 10A) in 57 games with the Lightning last year.

Ryan Malone
Holtby will start against the Sharks.

The Capitals want to get backup Justin Peters some work soon, but with Holtby coming off of a shutout and only allowing one goal on 53 shots (.981 SV%) in his first two starts, it makes no sense to switch things up. He will try to string back-to-back wins together, but it won't be easy against a Sharks team who has yet to allow a single goal in two games.

Braden Holtby
Ward gets the call on Tuesday vs. Buffalo.

Ward's season started on a sour note. He allowed five goals on 26 shots in a 5-3 loss to the Islanders. Anton Khudobin did not do much better the following night, so the Hurricanes will give Ward another shot on tonight. He draws a great matchup vs. the Sabres, so expect a bounce-back performance.

Cam Ward
Lundqvist will face the Islanders on Tuesday.

Lundqvist was pulled after he allowed six goals on 24 shots in Sunday's blowout loss to the Maple Leafs. 'King Henrik' did not look himself in Sunday's contest, but the Rangers will give him the chance to bounce-back tonight with the Isles in town. He is 8-1 with a 1.76 GAA and .944 SV% vs the Islanders in the last three seasons, so he is a must-start.

Henrik Lundqvist
Halak will be back in goal on Tuesday vs. the Rangers.

Halak allowed three goals on 24 shots in a win over the Hurricanes in his Islanders debut last Friday. He sat the second game of the back-to-back but will be back in the crease tonight vs. the Rangers. New York is coming off of a pair of bad losses, so they should come out hungry tonight.

Jaroslav Halak
Mason will start Tuesday vs. the Ducks.

Mason gave up five goals on 25 shoos in a 6-4 loss to the Devils last Thursday. Ray Emery looked sharp on Saturday, but the Flyers will go back to Mason tonight at home vs. Anaheim. It is not an easy matchup whatsoever and on a busy nit across the NHL take a look at your other matchups first.

Steve Mason
Nabokov likely to make his Lightning debut on Tuesday.

Nabokov went 15-14-8 with a 2.74 GAA and .905 SV% with the Islanders last season, but this year he will play behind a powerful Lightning offence. It looks like he will make his debut tonight against a New Jersey team he is very familiar with after years on Long Island. He was 1-2-0 with a 3.66 GAA and .863 SV% against the Devils last year.

Evgeni Nabokov
Reimer will make his second straight start on Tuesday.

Reimer was awarded the win despite leaving Sunday's game early after a collision with Dominic Moore. He stopped 24 of 26 shots in the Leafs 6-3 win over the Rangers. Head coach Randy Carlyle will stick with the hot-hand and give Reimer another start tonight in Colorado. The Avalanche are 1-2 and have struggled to score goals early on this year.

James Reimer
The Bruins have signed Simon Gagne to a one-year, $600K deal.

Gagne was in training camp with the Bruins on a professional tryout and continued to travel and practice with the team as the season started, but he has finally inked the contract and will try to work his way into the lineup.

Simon Gagne
As expected, Skinner (concussion) is skating this morning--in a no-contact jersey.

This is the first time that Skinner has joined his teammates for a practice since suffering a concussion in the preseason. He will not play tonight, but is targeting Thursday for a return. Monitor his status leading up to Thursday's contest.

Jeff Skinner
Zuccarello (shoulder) is on the ice for the Rangers morning skate.

Zuccarello missed Sunday's game vs. Toronto with a shoulder injury that he suffered on Saturday. Zucc's presence this morning is a good sign that the injury is not serious and he could be back in the lineup on Tuesday vs. the Islanders. Zuccarello has yet to record a point this season and is coming off of a minus-4 performance vs. the Blue Jackets.

Mats Zuccarello
Nash (personal) is back on the ice for the Rangers morning skate after leaving Sunday's game for the birth of his first child.

Nash has had a great start to the season scoring four goals with one assist in three games. He left Sunday's game early but the Rangers were getting beat bad by the Maple Leafs, so Nash was not going to lead any kind of comeback. He will be back on the Rangers top-line with Martin St. Louis tonight vs. the Islanders.

Rick Nash
Bobrovsky will start in goal vs. the Stars.

Bobrovsky stopped 24 of 26 shots in the Blue Jacekts 5-2 win over the Rangers on Saturday. Bobrovsky has started the season 2-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .938 SV%, despite having an injury ravaged lineup playing in front of him. He will try to make it three in a row tonight when he takes on Dallas--a team he was 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .955 SV% against last season.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Hiller starts Wednesday vs. Chicago.

Hiller allowed four goals on 39 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Blues on Saturday. With Karri Ramo starting on Tuesday, Hiller will get the second game of the back-to-back, but he draws the short straw again--he gets the Hawks while Ramo gets the Preds. Hiller has looked sharp to start the season, but has yet to draw a favourable matchup.

Jonas Hiller
Holtby is likely starting on Tuesday vs. San Jose.

Maroon (leg) will miss at least a couple of game; maybe longer.

Maroon was injured in the Ducks 5-1 win over the Sabres on Monday after being hit by Josh Gorges. He was reportedly walking with a noticeable limp after the game and has been ruled out for Tuesday's game and could miss a lot more time than that. He was settling in nicely on the Ducks top-line, recording an assist in each of the first three games. The Ducks will likely release a timetable for Maroon in the next day or two.

Pat Maroon
Gibson expected to make his second start of the year.

Gibson' season opener and return to his hometown did not go as expected. He allowed six goals on 39 shots in a 6-4 loss to the Penguins last Thursday. It was a rough start, but Gibson is on the brink of being a star, so expect him to settle in and get his game on track soon. Tonight, it looks like he will face the Flyers who are 0-2-1 to start the year.
