Ryan has not played an NHL game since the 2020-21 NHL season and will likely debut in the AHL this season after being placed on waivers for the purpose of being reassigned to the Chicago Wolves (AHL). The 31-year-old Ryan has 24 points (4G / 20A) in 145 career NHL games.

The Blackhawks will turn to Mrazek between the pipes for the third time in their first four games to start the season. The Czech netminder has a 3.03 GAA and .906 SV% through two games this season (1-1-0) and was terrific in his most recent outing, saving 36 of 38 shots (.947 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers. The Blackhawks enter action on Tuesday as +132 road underdogs against an undefeated Calgary Flames club (3-0-0) that has already scored 16 goals this season.

Edmundson (personal) missed practice on Tuesday and is questionable for Wednesday in Toronto.

Edmundson was absent from practice on Tuesday due to personal reasons. The veteran defenseman suffered a -1 plus/minus in the Kings marathon 8-7 overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators on Monday afternoon and has one point (0G / 1A) in three games this season.

Watson has been assigned to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Watson only saw 4:54 TOI in his only appearance for the Red Wings and has been reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL) on Tuesday. The 32-year-old signed a one-year contract with Detroit after a successful PTO during training camp. He'll return to Grand Rapids, where he had three assists and seven PIMs in two games prior to his call-up.

After a brief two-game appearance, Justin Holl has been reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL) after picking up an assist and two PIMs with the Red Wings. The 32-year-old defensemen will return to Grand Rapids likely as a paper move and is expected to return to Detroit for their game on Thursday. If he does appear in a game for Grand Rapids, it will be his first AHL experience since 2017-18.

Dunn (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday in Nashville.

Dunn is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, did not play on Sunday, and is questionable for Tuesday against the Nashville Predators. Dunn has started the season with a goal and two points through the first two games while averaging 21:22 TOI/GP. Josh Mahura was Dunn's replacement on Sunday against the Dallas Stars.

The Flyers will turn to Ersson for his second start of the season when they visit the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday. The 24-year-old Ersson was excellent in the Flyers season opener, his only start of the season thus far, saving 24 of 26 shots (.923 SV%) in a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks. Ersson started a career-high 49 games last season (23-19-7) and could rival those totals this season. The Flyers enter action on Tuesday as +176 road underdogs against an Oilers club that has only scored three times in their first three games (0-3-0).

Daniel Sprong will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Bains to make his season debut. The 23-year-old Bains spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL), tallying an impressive 55 points (16G / 39A) in 59 games and could be in line for a more prominent role in the NHL this season.

The winless Predators (0-2-0) will turn to Saros between the pipes for the second time this season. Saros was serviceable in his season opener on Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings, saving 19 of 21 shots (.905 SV%), but received zero goal support in the 3-0 loss. Saros signed an eight-year extension worth $61.92 million ($7.74M AAV) in the offseason and should see a heavy workload in net for the Predators this season. Nashville enters action on Tuesday as a -192 home favorite against the Seattle Kraken.

Seattle has alternated goalies through three games this season and will continue the trend on Tuesday, turning to Daccord between the pipes for the second time this season. Daccord was unspectacular in his season opener, allowing four goals on 38 shots (.895 SV%), but salvaged a 5-4 victory over the Minnesota Wild, Seattle's only win this season. Seattle enters play on Tuesday as a +171 road underdog against a winless Nashville Predators club (0-2-0).

The Sharks, winless in their first two games (0-1-1), will turn to Blackwood between the pipes for the second time early in the season. Blackwood struggled in his first outing allowing five goals on 40 shots (.875 SV%) in a 5-4 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues. The 28-year-old Blackwood had a 3.45 GAA, .899 SV%, and two shutouts in 44 appearances for the Sharks last season (10-25-4). The Sharks enter action on Tuesday as sizeable +294 road underdogs against a Dallas Stars team that has outscored their opposition 9-3 so far this season (3-0-0).

Skinner has struggled early in the season, mirroring the Oilers' ability to score only three goals through three games (0-3-0). The 25-year-old Skinner has allowed eight goals on 41 shots (.805 SV%) through two games this season but is hopeful to return closer to his 2.69 GAA and .909 SV% accumulated over his 123-game career before the start of the 2024-25 campaign.
