Ostapchuk played well for the Senators but gets sent back to the AHL to clear the way for Shane Pinto to return to the lineup in Toronto on Tuesday. Ostapchuk heads back to Belleville, where he has five points (1G / 4A) in six games this season.

Rondbjerg enters the lineup in place of Mark Stone, who is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Rondbjerg played 20 games with the Golden Knights last season, registering one goal and two assists.
DeSimone played 11 games with the Devils last season, scoring two points (1G / 1A), but has primarily been an AHL players, playing only 38 career NHL games since his professional debut in the 2016-17 season. In nine games with the Utica Comets (AHL) this season, the 29-year-old DeSimone has two points (0G / 2A) and a -10 plus/minus.
Anderson-Dolan has not played yet this season, recovering from an undisclosed injury, and will begin the 2024-25 campaign with the Manitoba Moose (AHL). The 25-year-old Dolan had four points (1G / 3A) in 31 games last season, split between the Los Angeles Kings and Nashville Predators.
With Philipp Grubauer (undisclosed) sidelined, Seattle recalled Stezka from Coachella Valley (AHL) to serve as the backup to Joey Daccord on Friday night. The 27-year-old Stezka has a 3.61 GAA and .881 SV% in six games with Coachella Valley this season.
Alex Lyon was named as the Red Wings' starter for Friday's game, but the recall of Husso casts some doubt on Lyon's or Cam Talbot's availability. The Red Wings reportedly have a flu bug going around the locker room, so it's possible one of Lyon or Talbot is sick and won't be available against Toronto. Expect an update during their morning skate this morning. Husso has been spectacular since going to the AHL, stopping 69 of the 72 shots (1.23 GAA / .958 SV%) that he's faced in three appearances.
Nemec has been used sparingly this season, playing only nine games and averaging 16:07 time-on-ice, down nearly four minutes from the 19:52 he averaged last season. The 20-year-old Slovak had 19 points (3G / 16A) in 60 games last season.
With the Flames recently placing Anthony Mantha (lower body) on Injured Reserve, they have recalled Hunt from the Calgary Wranglers (AHL). The 28-year-old Hunt played 28 games with the Flames last season, scoring eight points (3G / 5A).
Carlsson has not played a game with the Sharks this season and will start his 2024-25 campaign with the San Jose Barracuda. The 27-year-old Carlsson scored 39 points (15G / 24A) in 52 games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) last season.
Richard played nine games with the Boston Bruins last season, scoring three points (1G / 2A), but has primarily been an AHL player since being drafted in the fourth-round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators. The 27-year-old Richard has nine points (4G / 5A) in seven games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) this season).
