Chicago has signed Samuel Savoie to a three-year, entry-level contract worth $878,333 AAV.

Savoie had 26 goals, 33 assists, 90 PIMs and a +30 plus/minus through 60 games with Gatineau (QMJHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract worth $878,333 AAV. The 19-year-old forward was Chicago's 2022 third-round draft pick (81st overall) and is expected to return to Gatineau for his fourth junior season in 2023-24.

Chicago has signed Connor Bedard to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Bedard was selected with the first-overall pick of the 2023 draft and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract on his 18th birthday. The generationally talented centre is coming off a historic season in the WHL which saw his score 71 goals and 143 points across 57 regular season games.

Edmonton has signed Olivier Rodrigue to a one-year, two-way contract extension worth $775,000 AAV.

Rodrigue was 14-14-1 with a .912 SV% and 2.77 GAA with the Bakersfield Condors (AHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension worth $775,000 AAV. The 22-year-old net minder was Edmonton's 2018 second-round pick (62nd overall) and has yet to see any time in the NHL but has racked up 53 appearances in three years of AHL action.

Olivier Rodrigue
Dallas has signed Derrick Pouliot to a one-year, two-way contract ($775,000).

Pouliot had two assists, four SOG, six PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through eight games with San Jose in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 with Dallas. The 29-year-old defensemen was drafted in the first-round of the 2012 draft (8th overall) to Pittsburgh and has eight goals, 54 points and 241 SOG through 221 career NHL games with six different teams.

Derrick Pouliot
The Maple Leafs signed Tyler Bertuzzi to a one-year deal worth $5.5 million.

Bertuzzi had eight goals, 22 assists, 107 SOG, 29 PIMs and a -8 plus/minus through 50 games with both Boston and Detroit in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year deal with Toronto worth $5.5 million. The 28-year-old left-winger joins the Maple Leafs' with 92 goals and 218 points through 326 career NHL games.

The Blackhawks signed Ryan Donato to a two-year deal worth $4.0 million ($2.0M AAV).

Donato had 14 goals, 13 assists, 122 SOG, 46 PIMs and a +16 plus/minus through 71 games with Seattle in 2022-23 and has signed a two-year contract worth $4.0 million ($2,000,000 AAV). The 27-year-old centre joins his fifth team in seven NHL seasons and has 65 goals, 70 assists, and 116 PIMs through 325 career NHL games.

Joey Anderson has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension ($800,000 AAV) through 2023-24 with Chicago.

Anderson had six goals, three assists, 41 SOG, and a -8 plus/minus through 38 games played with Toronto and Chicago in 2022-23 as has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension ($800,000 AAV) through 2023-24 with Chicago. The 25-year-old right-winger was acquired near the trade deadline by Chicago in a deal that brought Jake McCabe to Toronto and has 22 career points (14G/8A) across 96 NHL games played.

Teuvo Teravainen (hand) will return to the Hurricanes' lineup for Game 1 vs. Florida.

Teravainen has been out since Game 2 of the Hurricanes' opening series vs. the New York Islanders and has missed the last nine games due to a hand injury but will draw back into the lineup for Game 1 vs. Florida on Thursday. The 28-year-old failed to pick up a point in his two games played earlier in the playoffs but had two SOG, two PIMs and a +2 plus/minus. He is expected to take a spot on Carolina's third line Thursday.

Teuvo Teravainen (hand) will be a game-time decision ahead of Game 1 vs. Florida.

Teravainen has been out since Game 2 of the Hurricanes' opening series vs. the New York Islanders and has missed the last nine games due to a hand injury and will be game-time decision for Game 1 vs. Florida on Thursday. The 28-year-old failed to pick up a point in his two games played earlier in the playoffs but had two SOG, two PIMs and a +2 plus/minus. He is expected to take a spot on Carolina's third line if he does dress Thursday.

Arvid Soderblom has signed a two-year contract ($962,500 AAV) through the 2024-25 season.

Soderblom was 2-10-2 with a .894 SV%, and 3.45 GAA across 13 starts and 15 games played in 2022-23 as he struggled through his rookie season on a weak Blackhawks' team but has signed a new two-year contract ($962,500) extension that runs through the 2024-25 season. The 23-year-old is expected to backup in his second season in Chicago in 2023-24.

Sam Lafferty will draw back into the Maple Leafs' lineup for Game 2.

Lafferty has been a healthy scratch for Toronto's previous two playoff games but will draw back into the lineup Thursday for Game 2 as he replaces Zach Ashton-Reese. The 28-year-old has an assist, five SOG, two PIMs and a -3 plus/minus through fives games so far in the playoffs.

Matt Grzelcyk will make his playoff 2022-23 playoff debut for Game 3 Friday vs. Florida.

Grzelcyk had four goals, 22 assists, 102 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +46 plus/minus through 75 games played during the regular season and will draw into the Bruins' lineup for the first time this postseason. He will replace Connor Clifton in Boston's lineup for Game 3.

Teravainen will need surgery on his broken hand suffered in Game 2 and is out indefinitely.

Taravainen was a +2 plus/minus with two PIMS in the Game 2 loss vs. the New York Islanders but suffered a broken hand and will now require surgery. The 28-year-old does not have a timetable for his return and will make a huge loss for the already injured Hurricanes, after posting 37 points (12G/27A) in 68 games during the regular season.

Lafferty (personal) is expected to play in Game 1.

Lafferty was back with the Maple Leafs for Sunday's practice after missing the final three games of the regular season due to a personal matter. Lafferty, who will be part of the Maple Leafs fourth line in Game 1, has six points (2G / 4A) in 19 games since being acquired by the Maple Leafs.
