Chinakhov is expected to be a healthy scratch vs. Vegas on Thursday.

With Christian Fischer making his Blue Jackets debut on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights, Chinakhov will be the odd-man out of the lineup as a healthy scratch. The 24-year-old Chinakhov has 14 points (7G / 7A) in 21 games this season before being sidelined due to an injury. Daccord will start against the Canadiens on Wednesday.

Daccord will be looking to snap a personal three-game losing streak when the Kraken host the Canadiens on Wednesday. Daccord has struggled following the Four Nations break after a very strong first half of the season, posting a 2-4-0 record and an .871 SV% across six appearances.
