Utah has signed Logan Cooley to an eight-year contrac worth $10 million AAV ($80M total).

Kuemper will start in San Jose on Tuesday.

After losing five of their first six games (1-3-2) to start the season, the Kings have rebounded nicely, improving to 4-3-3 through 10 games. The Kings have yet to see the elite play of Darcy Kuemper that earned him a runner-up finish for the Vezina Trophy last season, but he will return to the crease on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks. The 36-year-old Kuemper has a 2.78 GAA and .887 SV% in six games this season (2-2-2). After ending the 2024-25 season with the second-worst record in the Western Conference, the Blackhawks are off to a pleasant 4-3-2 start to the 2025-26 season. Part of the success can be attributed to Spencer Knight's tremendous goaltending. The 24-year-old Knight is boasting an outstanding 1.97 GAA and .937 SV% through six games this season (3-2-1). The Blackhawks enter Tuesday's contest as +122 home underdogs against an Ottawa Senators team that blew up offensively last night, defeating the Boston Bruins 7-2.
