Soucy missed Games 5 and 6 and will miss the deciding Game 7 on Friday. Head coach Dean Evason said that Soucy is "progressing," so he could be available for Game 1 if the Wild move on tonight.

After sitting as a healthy scratch for the first four games of the series, Gustafsson is expected to replace Brett Kulak in the lineup for Game 5. Gustafsson has collected two assists while plating 13:23 ATOI in five games with the Canadiens.
Tavares skated for about 20 minutes on Thursday morning but the Maple Leafs provided no real update on his status. While it is certainly encouraging that Tavares is already back on the ice, there is still no timetable for his return. Having their captain back in the building should at least provide the Maple Leafs with a morale boost heading into Game 5.
Foligno will miss his third consecutive game with a lower-body injury that he suffered in Game 2. With Foligno and John Tavares both still out, Alex Kerfoot, William Nylander and Alex Galchenyuk will continue to skate as the Maple Leafs' second line.
Dermott replaced Rasmus Sandin in the lineup in Game 4 but the two will swap places again for Game 5. Dermott had two shots and two blocked shots in 12:57 TOI in his series debut.
