Bishop stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Lightning’s win in Brooklyn on Tuesday. The win snapped a brief two-game losing streak for Bishop, who comes into Saturday at 4-3-0 with a 3.30 GAA and .891 SV%. It hasn’t been an ideal beginning to 2016-17, but Bishop draws a strong matchup tonight vs. the Devils—New Jersey has lost two of their last three and rank 24th in goals (2.33 G/PG).
Ward surrendered two goals on 32 shots in the Hurricanes’ overtime loss in Ottawa on Tuesday. Ward has lost three of his last four starts while posting a 3.01 GAA and .896 SV%. It looks like he will make his fifth consecutive start tonight in Nashville. The Predators have lost four of their last five while averaging 2.20 goals per game.
Crawford stopped all 38 shots that he faced in the Blackhawks’ shutout win over the Avalanche on Thursday. Crawford has won four straight games while posting a 0.75 GAA, .978 SV% and two shutouts. The Hawks’ netminder is red-hot and will take on a Stars team that is battling a ton of injuries and come in tied for 20th in scoring (2.60 G/PG).
Miller allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Canucks’ loss in Montreal on Wednesday. Miller was good, but Carey Price was unbeatable at the other end of the ice, resulting in Miller’s fourth loss of the season. Miller is playing extremely well, posting a 1.79 GAA and .934 SV% across five starts, but he hasn’t had a goal scored in front of him in three games.
Neuvirth gave up two goals on 27 shots in the Flyers’ shootout win in Brooklyn on Thursday. Neuvirth has won three straight starts while posting a 2.58 GAA and .901 SV%, earning him his fourth consecutive start tonight. On Saturday he will face the 9-1-1 Canadiens, who were destroyed 10-0 last night, but Carey Price goes for Montreal tonight.
Edler missed Friday’s practice and Saturday’s morning skate and is listed as doubtful for tonight’s game. Edler is day-to-day and is not expected to miss an expected period of time.
Lehner allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Sabres’ loss to the Maple Leafs on Thursday. The loss snapped his brief two-game winning streak—since returning from illness, Lehner is 2-1-0 with a 1.34 GAA and .958 SV%. He has proven to be a capable No.2 fantasy option, but could be in tough against a red-hot Craig Anderson.
Russell will come out of the lineup on Saturday due to an undisclosed injury. The veteran defenseman will be replaced by Eric Gryba in Brooklyn. Consider Russell day-to-day.
Gordon will miss his fourth consecutive game on Saturday, his movement to LTIR gives the Flyers enough cap-space to activate Michael Del Zotto from injured reserve.
Del Zotto has missed the first 12 games of the regular season, but will be in the lineup on Saturday. The 26-year-old, who will be paired with Shayne Gostisbehere, had 13 points (4G / 9A) in 52 games a season ago.

Niemi came into 2016-17 as a low-end No.2 option, but the Stars injuries have really hurt his production. He’ll be in tough yet again tonight—the Blackhawks come in on a four-game winning streak, while averaging 3.75 goals per game.
Anderson allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Senators’ win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. He missed Thursday’s game to be with his wife, but he’s back in the crease tonight vs. the Sabres. Anderson has won three in a row, while stopping 91 of 92 shots (.989 SV%). He is red-hot and is a must-start against a Sabres team that is tied for 25th in scoring (2.30 G/PG).
Rask allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Bruins’ win in Tampa Bay on Thursday. Rask has won all six of his starts, while posting a 1.48 GAA and .951 SV%. The undefeated Bruins’ netminder will draw arguably his toughest test of the season tonight vs. the Rangers. New York comes into play leading the NHL in goals for, with 4.09 goals per game so far.
Backes has missed the last five games after undergoing an elbow procedure, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Rangers. Backes will skate on the Bruins’ second line and second power-play unit—he has two goals and two assists in five games this season.
