Luongo stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Panthers win in Philadelphia on Tuesday. Luongo has won four straight games with a 1.51 GAA and .951 SV% since returning from injury and will look to make it five in a row tonight in Columbus. The Blue Jackets are tied for ninth in the NHL in goal-scoring (3.22 GF/pg).

Crosby will not be available on Thursday, but the Penguins announced that his upper-body injury is not a concussion. Head coach Mike Sullivan thinks that Crosby will probably be out for a week, meaning he will probably miss at least Saturday’s game in Ottawa.

Murray surrendered four goals on 27 shots in the Penguins loss to the Devils on November 5th. Casey DeSmith started the last three games, but Murray will be back between the pipes tonight vs. the Lightning. Murray is 1-4-0 with a 5.78 GAA and .818 SV% on home-ice this season.

Dubnyk surrendered five goals on 33 shots in the Wild’s loss to the Capitals on Tuesday. It was one of Dubnyk’s worst starts this season, moving him to 8-4-2 with a 2.34 GAA and .927 SV% on the season. The 32-year-old is a must-start with the Canucks in town and Richard Bachman getting his first start of the season.

van Riemsdyk has missed the last 16 games with a lower-body injury that he suffered in the second game of the season. van Riemsdyk had one assist in his first two games and returns on the third line and first power-play unit against a Devils team that is giving up the third most goals against in the NHL.

Greiss allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Islanders win over the Canucks on Tuesday. Greiss has been really good this season, especially as of late. In his last four games, Greiss is 3-0-1 with a 1.68 GAA, .944 SV% and one shutout. He should continue his strong play against a Rangers team that is the fifth lowest scoring team in the NHL.

Gionta is always the Islanders call-up when they are missing a fourth liner, but the 35-year-old brings little in the way of offence. He has just one assist in three games with Bridgeport this season.

Dal Colle was the No.5 overall pick in 2014, but has only appeared in four career NHL games with the Islanders since. Dal Colle has impressed in the AHL this year though, picking up 14 points (7G / 7A) in his first 14 games. He could make his season debut on Thursday, replacing Andrew Ladd, who was placed on IR this morning.

Martin’s move to IR is retroactive to November 1st, so he is eligible to play whenever he is healthy. Martin remains day-to-day according to the Islanders.

The Islanders announced on Thursday that Ladd is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury, so his move to IR opens up a roster spot for Michael Dal Colle to be recalled from Bridgeport (AHL).

Cizikas will miss 2-3 weeks with a lower-body injury, so he has been moved to IR to open up a roster spot to recall Stephen Gionta from Bridgeport (AHL).

With Andrei Vasilevskiy reportedly out for “a while” with a fractured left foot, Pasquale comes up to backup Louis Domingue. The 27-year-old has no NHL experience and is 4-2-0 with a 2.85 GAA and .896 SV%. Domingue will likely see a heavy workload while Vasilevskiy’s out, meaning Pasquale could backup for a few games and then swap out with Connor Ingram so both goalies stay fresh in the AHL.

Oshie was forced to leave Monday’s game in Winnipeg after a heavy collision in the corner with Jets’ defenseman Josh Morrissey. Oshie’s head was driven to the ice after the hit and he came up a bit woozy. Oshie has four reported concussions in his career, so the Capitals will be very cautious with the winger. Oshie is questionable at the very least for Friday’s game in Colorado.

Kuznetsov was forced to leave Wednesday’s game in Winnipeg after being clipped in the head by a Brandon Tanev elbow in the first period. Kuznetsov originally stayed in the game for the ensuing power-play, but left the game and did not return shortly after. If Kuznetsov suffered a concussion, it would all but rule him out of Friday’s game in Colorado.

Fowler suffered what the Ducks described as a “complex right facial fracture involving the orbital bone, cheekbone and upper-jaw bone” when he was hit in the face by a puck on Monday. Fowler will undergo surgery on Friday and a more detailed timetable will be released when they know more.

Vasilevskiy may have fractured his left foot according to TSN’s Darren Dreger. Although unconfirmed by the Lightning, a fractured left foot would keep Vasilevskiy sidelined for a lengthy period of time and Louis Domingue would have to step-up as the team’s No.1 netminder. The Lightning should provide an update later on Thursday.

Gibson stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Ducks win over the Predators on Monday. It was another outstanding performance from Gibson, who is now seventh in the NHL in SV% (.931) and 14th in GAA (2.47) . The 25-year-old has struggled on the road, going 2-5-0 with a 2.72 GAA and .932 SV% in seven road starts this season.

Holtby was a late scratch for tonight's game, causing Pheonix Copley to make his second start in as many nights. Goalie Gavin McHale was signed as an emergency back-up. Consider Holtby day-to-day until we get an update from the team.
