Brodziak (upper-body) will travel to Vancouver; questionable for Tuesday’s game.

Brodziak played just 2:22 in Saturday’s win vs. the Rangers on Saturday before leaving with an upper-body injury. Brodziak will travel to Vancouver, but he is day-to-day and may miss Tuesday’s game. If he’s out look for Dmitrij Jaskin to centre the fourth line.

Lehtera (upper-body) will not travel to Vancouver for Tuesday’s game.

Lehtera left Saturday’s game vs. the Rangers with an upper-body injury and will miss at least Tuesday’s game vs. the Canucks. With Lehtera out, Alex Steen is expected to shift to centre and Jaden Schwartz (elbow) could take his spot in the lineup.

Hammond will make his season debut in Detroit.

Craig Anderson started the first two games of the season, but they will turn to Andrew Hammond in Detroit. Hammond has three career appearances against the Red Wings (two starts, one relief) and has gone 2-0-0 with a 0.78 GAA and .966 SV%. Hammond gets the first game of the back-to-back and could be a sneaky spot-start against a struggling Red Wings team.

Dell will likely make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Martin Jones has started the first three games of the season, including last night, when he was lit up for five goals on 22 shots, so look for Dell to make his NHL debut on Tuesday. The 27-year-old was undrafted and paid his dues in the ECHL and AHL before becoming the Sharks’ backup this season. Del was 17-16-6 with a 2.42 GAA and .922 SV% in 40 games with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) last season.

Aaron Dell
Rask (lower-body) will likely start on Monday.

Rask was set to start Saturday’s game in Toronto, but he was held out because he was dinged up. The Bruins are optimistic that Rask will be good to go tonight, but there will not be confirmation until after their morning skate. Rask stopped 28 of 31 shots in the Bruins’ season opening win in Columbus last Thursday.

Tuukka Rask
Montoya will start the Canadiens' home opener on Tuesday.

Montoya surrendered three goals on 38 shots in the Canadiens’ shootout loss in Ottawa on Saturday. With Carey Price still sidelined with the flu, Montoya will start his third consecutive game tonight. He has filled in for Price very well, stopping 65 of 69 shots (.942 SV%) that he has faced in his first two stars in a Montreal uniform.

Al Montoya
Jones will start Monday in New York.

Jones allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Sharks’ win in Columbus on Saturday. Jones has won each of his first two starts while stopping 47 of 50 shots (.940 SV%). Jones has enjoyed a great start to the year and tonight he will run into a Rangers team that has started the year 1-1-0 while averaging 3.50 goals per game so far.

Hammond is in the starter's crease this morning.

Craig Anderson started the first two games of the season, but it looks like they will turn to Andrew Hammond in Detroit. Hammond has three career appearances against the Red Wings (two starts, one relief) and has gone 2-0-0 with a 0.78 GAA and .966 SV%. Hammond gets the first game of the back-to-back and could be a sneaky spot-start against a struggling Red Wings team.

Hellebuyck is in the starter's crease this morning.

Hellebuyck gave up four goals on 27 shots in the Jets’ overtime win over the Hurricanes on Thursday. Michael Hutchinson started Saturday, but it looks like they will go back to Hellebuyck tonight vs. the Bruins. The Jets are the worst possession team in the NHL through two games, which doesn’t bode well for Hellebuyck on Monday.

Connor Hellebuyck
Fleury will start his third straight game on Monday.

Fleury allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Penguins win over the Ducks on Saturday. Fleury is off to a great start to the year, winning each of his first two starts while stopping 73 of 77 shots (.948 SV%). Tonight he will face an Avalanche team that beat the Stars 6-5 in their season opener on Saturday.
