Smith allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Coyotes 3-1 win in Toronto on Thursday. It was his first win since January 8th and made him 3-5-2 with a 3.25 GAA and .902 SV% in January. In his first start against the Senators, he allowed five goals on 33 shots in a 5-1 loss.
Myers was injured on Thursday night after blocking a shot in Edmonton. Despite the minor injury, he will be available tonight in Vancouver. He has one goal and one assist in his last two games.
Fleury gave up four goals on 36 shots in the Penguins 4-0 loss to the Capitals on Wednesday. Fleury has lost four consecutive starts while posting an ugly 4.31 GAA and .867 SV%. Tonight he will make his fourth start of the season against the Devils—he is 2-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .920 SV% in the first three meetings.
Grossmann has missed the last nine games with a shoulder injury, but finally appears ready to return to the lineup tomorrow vs. the Maple Leafs. “He looked good today,” coach Berube said. “It’s up in the air yet, I’ve got to see tomorrow.” Monitor his status during Saturday’s morning skate.
Brewer will need to participate in a few full practices before he gets back in the lineup. I probably wouldn’t be wise for Ducks to throw him back into the lineup tonight vs. Chicago.
Price stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Canadiens 1-0 shutout win over the Rangers on Thursday night. Since returning from his upper-body injury, Price has won all three of his starts while posting a 0.98 GAA and .971 SV%. He will make his first start of the season against the Capitals this afternoon—Price is 15-5-1 at the Bell Centre.
Mrazek was pulled after he allowed five goals on 15 shots in the Red Wings 5-1 loss to the Lightning on Thursday. Mrazek has struggled lately, getting pulled in two of his last four starts and posting a 4.83 GAA and .842 SV% over that stretch. It won’t get any easier with the high-powered Islanders in town.
Robak’s assignment clears a roster spot for the Ducks to activate Eric Brewer from IR. Robak had one assist in five games with Ducks after coming over from the Panthers.
Chiasson suffered an undisclosed injury in the Senators loss to the Stars last night. He will be held out of Saturday’s game vs. the Coyotes. Consider him day-to-day. David Legwand will be back in the lineup.

With Craig Anderson still out, Lehner will make his second straight start, in search of his first win since December 13th. Clendening was traded to Vancouver from Chicago last night and has already been recalled by the Canucks, something he had a hard time doing with Chicago. He had 13 points (1G / 12A) in 38 games with Rockford (AHL) this season.
Marchenko, 23, has registered two goals and 15 assists ( 17 points) in 42 games with Grand Rapids this season. He made his NHL debut last season, but could make his season debut on Saturday afternoon vs. the Islanders.
Ouellet has registered two goals and one assist in 21 games with the Red Wings this season. He was a minus-3 last night vs. the Lightning and has been swapped with Alexey Marchenko.
Lashoff has been a healthy scratch in every game since December 29th. He has two assists in 11 games with the Red Wings this season.
Ehrhoff is not in New Jersey with the team, he is back in Pittsburgh undergoing concussion protocol. The team expects results tomorrow, so expect an update on his status in the next 24 hours.
