Parenteau (upper-body) will return to the Canadiens’ lineup on Wednesday.

Parenteau missed the last three games with an upper-body injury he suffered on January 2nd in New Jersey. He will skate on a line with Alex Galchenyuk and Brandon Prust tonight in Columbus. He has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 38 games this season and has not registered a goal since November 28th.

The Penguins have claimed Mark Arcobello off of waivers from Nashville.

Arcobello, who was originally traded to Nashville from Edmonton for Derek Roy, was placed on waivers yesterday and claimed by Pittsburgh this afternoon. He will join former Oilers teammate David Perron, who was traded to the Penguins in early January. Arcobello has 12 goals and 19 assists (31 points) in 82 career NHL games.

Holtby will face the Flyers on Wednesday.

Holtby stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Capitals’ 2-1 victory over the Avalanche on Monday. He has yet to lose in regulation since the calendar turned over to 2015—he is 5-0-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .938 SV% over that span. He allowed three goals on 33 shots in s 3-2 OT loss in Philadelphia last Thursday.

Anisimov (tricep) resumed skating on Wednesday.

Anisimov skated for the first time since suffering a torn tricep on November 29th in Nashville. The Blue Jackets are starting to get healthy, but he was originally expected to miss 2-3 months, so don’t expect him back for a couple of weeks at least.

Bobrovsky will start vs. the Habs.

Bobrovsky gave up five goals on 40 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Islanders on Saturday. After a superb month of December, Goalie Bob has struggled in January, going 1-3-0 with a 4.57 GAA and .867 SV%. He will look to get things back on track tonight with the Habs in town—he is 8-6-2 / 2.87 GAA / .913 SV% at home.

Zepp will start on Wednesday vs. Washington.

Despite Ray Emery looking like the starter on Tuesday, it will be Zepp again tonight in Washington. He allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Flyers 7-3 win over the Lightning on Monday. He has won each of his first two NHL starts with a 3.00 GAA and .885 SV%.

The Flames have recalled Drew Shore from Adirondack (AHL).

Shore, who was acquired by the Flames in a trade on January 9th, was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the second round (44th overall) in the 2009 NHL Draft.He didn’t get a chance to debut for Adirondack, but he was second on San Antonio (AHL) in scoring with 30 points (9G / 21A) in 35 games.

Bobrovsky is expected to get the nod for the Blue Jackets.

Bobrovsky gave up five goals on 40 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Islanders on Saturday. Stepan left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Stepan played a season low 6:55 and while the team would not confirm the nature of the injury, it appeared as if Stepan suffered a hand injury after being slashed by Islanders forward Matt Martin. Stepan will be evaluated on Wednesday and more details should be released in the next 24 hours.

Rinne left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Rinne, who leads the NHL in wins, left late in the third period after he slid feet first into the boards. He was attended to by trainers, but was able to skate off under his own power. Rinne is likely the early candidate for the Vezina Trophy, so if he misses anytime, it is a huge loss for the Predators. He will be re-evaluated and a more detailed injury report will be released in the next 24 hours.

Niemi starts for the Sharks

Niemi allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Sharks loss to the Rangers on Saturday. He has lost three of his last four while allowing a combined 15 goals on 98 shots (.847 SV%). Despite a stretch of poor performances, Niemi draws a nice matchup to help get him back on track tonight.

Lehtonen leads the Stars onto the ice for warmups.

Lehtonen allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Stars 4-3 defeat vs. the Avs on Saturday. After winning four in a row, Lehtonen has dropped three straight while surrendering a combined 12 goals on 92 shots (.870 SV%). He will face the Senators tonight—Lehotnen is 6-2-1 with a 3.10 GAA and .895 SV% vs. the Eastern Conference this season.

Rinne leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne made 36 saves on 37 shots in the Predators 3-1 win over the Wild on Saturday. Rinne has been ridiculous all year long and his winning streak has hit five, while posting a 2.60 GAA and .907 SV% over that stretch. In his first start against the Canucks he made 26 saves in a 3-1 win.

Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Rask stopped 24 of 25 shot attempts in the Bruins 3-1 win over the Flyers on Saturday. After losing three in a row, Rask has now won back-to-back starts and will look to make it three consecutive tonight vs. the Lightning. He is 2-0-2 with a 1.69 GAA and .944 SV% in four starts in 2015 and catches a break against a Lightning team who could be missing Tyler Johnson and Victor Hedman.

Bishop leads the Lightning onto the ice for warmups.

Bishop allowed three goals on 12 shots after replacing Evgeni Nabokov in the Lightning’s loss to the Flyers last night. After Nabby got the call yesterday, it was obvious it would be Bishop tonight vs. Boston. He is 3-0-0 in January, despite posting a 2.86 GAA and .874 SV%.

Ramo (upper-body) did not practice on Tuesday, but is expected to return to practice on Wednesday.

Ramo is eligible to be activated from IR and play on Thursday, but that decision likely won’t be made until Thursday. With two capable goaltenders currently on the roster, the Flames won’t rush Ramo.

Neal (lower-body) has been activated from IR and will be in the lineup tonight vs. Vancouver.

Neal has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury, but will be back in tonight vs. the Canucks. Neal will skate with Mike Fisher and Colin Wilson on the Predators second line. He has 13 goals and 10 assists (23 points) in 35 games this season.
