Bobrovsky was scratched on Saturday due to an illness, but emergency recall Anton Forsberg was sent back to Springfield this morning, which is a good sign that Bobrovsky should be ready to start on Wednesday against the Wild.

Forsberg was with the Blue Jackets on an emergency recall because Sergei Bobrovsky was ill on Saturday. His return to the AHL suggests that Bob will be good to go on Wednesday vs. the Wild.
Martin has missed the last four games, but he took part in Saturday’s morning skate and today’s practice which is a good sign he is close. Brian Dumoulin was also sent back to the AHL this morning which presumably opened up a roster spot for Martin.
The Panthers get back into action today after a four-day Christmas break and with no back-to-back game on Monday, there is no doubt that it should be Luongo vs. the Maple Leafs. Granlund left Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return. He registered one goal and one assist before retiring to the dressing room for the evening. Following Saturday’s contest coach Mike Yeo said that Granlund is out indefinitely.
Quick surrendered four goals on 28 shots in the Kings 4-3 overtime loss to Calgary on Monday. Quick is one guy who wouldn’t mind seeing December come to an end—he is 4-3-2 with a 2.53 GAA and .897 SV% this month. He was pull after allowing four goals on 27 shots in his first outing against the Sharks.
Lehtonen gave up three goals on 25 shots in the Stars 4-0 loss to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. It was his second straight loss and made him 13-8-5 with a 3.00 GAA and .904 SV% on the season. He made 23 saves in a 4-3 OT loss in his first start vs. St. Louis.
Darcy Kuemper was scheduled to start tonight’s game but he is also battling illness, so the Wild placed Backstrom on IR in order to recall John Curry, who will now start tonight’s game vs. Winnipeg.
Kuemper started on Tuesday when he wasn't scheduled to because NIklas Backstrom got sick, now John Curry will start because Kuemper is sick. With Backstrom on IR, Kuemper will still dress and serve as Curry's backup.
Palmieri was hopeful that he would be able to return to the lineup tonight vs. Arizona, but he will miss at least one more week with a shoulder injury.
Jackman will not play because of the upper-body injury that he suffered when he was knocked out by John Scott on Monday. Scott was suspended four four games because of the incident. Dany Heatley will be in the lineup with Jackman out.

There were some rumblings that Stempniak would be back in the lineup tonight, but coach Alain Vigneault would not confirm that this morning. Stempniak is on the ice for warmups, skating with Kevin Hayes and Carl Hagelin.
