Perry took part in the Ducks optional morning skate, but will not play tonight vs. the Canucks. The next game he is eligible to return in would be Wednesday against the Sharks. Monitor his status leading up to Wednesday.
Hornqvist suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday’s loss to the Capitals. The Penguins injury woes continue. Don’t expect to see Hornqvist until at least the middle of January.
There is no immediate update as to why Gibson is being recalled. Jonathan Bernier is expected to get the start, so James Reimer could be dealing with a minor injury or illness. Expect an update at 3 PM ET when the team arrives to the rink.

He had 40 points (15G / 25A) in 82 games last season. If he can play at that pace again this season, he would be able to post close to 25 points in the remaining 47 games.
Foligno underwent surgery on his injured hand and will miss another month and a half.
Gionta has been out with a head injury since December 21st. He likely sustained a concussion and will miss a couple of weeks. With the week-to-week tag, there won’t be many updates on Gionta’s status until he is closer to returning to the lineup.
Lucic missed practice this morning and his status for Monday’s game is uncertain. Coach Julien called him day-to-day, so monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate.
Bergeron must have sustained an injury in Saturday’s loss to the Blue Jackets. He played just 12:25 and then missed practice on Sunday. Coach Julien called Bergeron day-to-day.
Fraser has three goals and a minus-5 rating in 24 games this season. They placed him on waivers in order to make room to recall Jordan Caron.
Roy has served as a healthy scratch in the last three games and has now been placed on waivers. He has 10 points (1G / 9A) in 26 games this season. It would be surprising if a team like Edmonton or another team in need of a veteran pivot does not claim Roy.
Poulin allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Islanders loss to Buffalo last night. He has been sent back to make room for Jaroslav Halak to be activated from IR.
Halak was scratched last night because of a lower-body injury, but his activation from IR suggests that he will be between the pipes on Monday.
Garrison missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury, but it looks like he will be in-line to return to the lineup tomorrow vs. the Maple Leafs. Monitor his status in the pre-game warmups.
Price made 37 saves on 38 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Islanders last Tuesday. After six days off, it is no surprise to see Price between the pipes tonight. He draws a great matchup to help shake the rust off as he takes on the Hurricanes in Carolina. He has won five of six with a 1.34 GAA and .954 SV%.
Bernier stopped all 43 shots that he faced in the Maple Leafs 4-0 shutout win over the Stars on Tuesday. It was a great way to bounce back after he allowed seven goals in his previous start. He enters play tonight 3-1-3 with a 2.03 GAA and .940 SV% on the road this season.
Following Ashton’s suspension he was sent down to the Toronto Marlies on a conditioning stint, but he was recalled last week to be an extra forward on the Maple Leafs five-game road-trip that starts tonight in Florida.
