Filppula has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. He will return in a great spot as he centres the top line with Steven Stamkos and Alex Killorn on his wings. Filppula has 28 points (7G / 21A) in 69 games this season.

Darling stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Blackhawks’ 4-1 win in Calgary last night. It was a nice bounce-back game for Darling, who was yanked in his previous outing vs. Dallas. The 27-year-old has gone 2-3-1 with a 2.60 GAA and .914 SV% in March. He has not faced the Canucks this season, but they represent a quality matchup—Vancouver has lost seven in a row and have been shutout in four of their last five games.
Because of their schedule, the Devils have not practiced since Wednesday, so Schneider will get a start with Albany before potentially getting a start later in the week. Schneider has been sidelined since March 4th.
