Lindback’s call-up is likely just a paper transaction with Juuse Saros going down to get some starts during the Predators bye week.

Saros, 22, has gone 1-4-0 with a 3.80 GAA and .872 SV% in six games with the Admirals. Saros will head to Milwaukee to get some starts during the Predators bye week.

Bogosian got tangled up with Evander Kane in Wednesday’s practice and had to be helped off of the ice, unable to put any pressure on his left leg. Bogosian has had a tough time with injuries during his career and it looks like he could miss more time this year.

Hayes left the Rangers game on Sunday and cancelled his plans to travel during the bye week and returned to New York to receive treatment. The Rangers will practice on Friday and if Hayes can’t get on the ice, he’ll likely miss their back-to-back on Saturday/Sunday.

Dubnyk gave up six goals on 32 shots in the Wild’s loss in Colorado on Saturday. With Alex Stalock starting last night, they’ll go back to Dubnyk tonight in Chicago. Dubnyk has gone 1-1-0 with a 1.52 GAA and .958 SV% in two starts against the Blackhawks this season.

Andersen allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Maple Leafs overtime loss to the Blue Jackets on Monday. Andersen has gone 2-2-1 while allowing a combined 14 goals on 170 shots (.918 SV%). Tonight he faces the struggling Senators for the first time since mid-October—he allowed five goals on 34 shots in a 6-3 loss, but that was when the Sens were playing well.

Carrick will get back into the lineup after being a healthy scratch on Monday. Carrick is in a rotation with Andreas Borgman and Travis Dermott, so look for him to be in the lineup for at least the next two games.

Dermott had one assist with three shots and two PIMS in his first two NHL games. Tonight he will take a seat because Mike Babcock said he is in a rotation with Andreas Borgman and Connor Carrick, so look for him to replace Borgman in the lineup when the Maple Leafs get back from their bye week.

Thompson has picked up five points (3G / 2A) in 15 games with the Blues since being called up. With the Blues bye week start on Wednesday, he heads back to the AHL to keep playing. He has 16 points (7G / 9A) in 24 games with the Rampage this season.

The Blues have the next six days off so Barbashev will head to the AHL to keep playing. Barbashev has split his time between the AHL and NHL this season, picking up five points (1G / 4A) with the Blues and eight points (4G / 4A) in 18 games with the Wolves.

The Blues have the next six days off so they will allow Dunn to get some playing time in San Antonio. Dunn has not played in a 11 days, so this will allow him to get back up to speed during the bye week.

Chlapik, 20, has one assist in six games with the Senators this season but has spent most of his time in Belleville, where he has collected 15 points (6G / 9A) in 28 games. Chlapik will likely draw into the Senators lineup on Wednesday because Bobby Ryan (hand) did not travel to Toronto.

Ryan left Tuesday’s game early and did not return. Head coach Guy Boucher said postgame that Ryan did not travel to Toronto so he’ll come out of the lineup tonight. The Senators have recalled Filip Chlapik from Belleville (AHL) and he will likely take his spot in the lineup.

Rinne stopped 26 of 29 shots in the Predators win in Los Angeles on Saturday. Rinne has had a good year, but had been struggling as of late so getting back in the win column was big for the veteran. Tonight Rinne will take on a struggling Oilers team on home-ice, where he has gone 11-3-2 with a 2.98 GAA and .907 SV% this season.

Reimer stopped 46 of 48 shots in the Panthers overtime loosen Columbus on Sunday. Reimer has now lost three in a row while allowing a combined nine goals on 93 shots (.903 SV%). Tonight he will face the Blues, who have struggled without Jaden Schwartz, going 6-8-1 in 15 games without the winger.

Ward also stopped both shots that he faced in Boston after replacing Scott Darling in the blowout loss on Saturday. Ward has won seven of his last nine starts while posting a 2.18 GAA, .917 SV% and one shutout, but is in really tough tonight in Tampa Bay.
