Miller starts vs. Chicago.

Miller surrendered four goals on 32 shots in the 5-4 win over the Oilers on Wednesday. Miller is in the thick of his roughest stretch of this young season. He is 2-2-0 with a 4.28 GAA and .842 SV% in his last four starts and draws a rough matchup against a Chicago team who dismantled Edmonton last night.

Crawford will start for the Blackhawks.

Crawford allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Hawks 7-1 win over the Oilers last night. He was not scheduled to start the contest, but ended up getting the call because Antti Raanta got sick. He was spotted a 2-0 lead less than five minutes in a coasted to a win. It will be a much more difficult night tonight in Vancouver.

Green left Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

The Capitals, who do not play again until Wednesday and have a scheduled off-day Sunday, officially listed Green as day-to-day. “I don’t think it’s too serious,” Coach Barry Trotz said, “but I have not talked to my trainers yet.”

Mike Green
Allen starts vs. the Jets.

Allen allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Blues’ 4-1 loss to Montreal on Thursday. The loss snapped Allen’s four-game winning streak, but he should be for great spot-start this afternoon in Winnipeg. Allen is 2-1-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .938 SV% on the road.

Jake Allen
Pavelec gets the call in goal for the Jets.

Pavelec allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Jets 4-3 loss to the Red Wings on Thursday. Despite losing his last four starts and Michael Hutchinson allowing just three goals in his last three, the Jets will turn to Pav again today vs. St. Louis.

Ondrej Pavelec
Neuvirth (lower-body) is expected to be healthy for Wednesday’s game.

Neuvirth has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but with Nathan Lieuwen heading back to the AHL it suggests that Neuvirth should be good to go for Wednesda vs. the Jets.
