Stutzle (upper body) will remain out on Tuesday but has a chance to return on Thursday vs. Tampa Bay.

Stutzle will miss a third straight game on Tuesday but could return to the lineup on Thursday. Before his injury, Stutzle had only two points (0G / 2A) in his last five games but has 70 (18G / 52A) in 75 games this season.

Xhekaj will undergo season-ending left shoulder surgery on Wednesday and is out for the remainder of the season.

Xhekaj has not played the last two games and will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on his left shoulder. The 23-year-old Xhekaj spent the first half of the season between the NHL and AHL but has been a fixture with the Canadiens for the last couple of months. He ends the season with 10 points (3G / 7A), 121 hits, and 49 blocks in 44 games.

Hertl (knee) will make his Vegas debut on Monday vs. Vancouver.

Hertl was acquired at the trade deadline for a 2025 1st-round pick and David Edstrom and will make his Vegas debut on Monday vs. Vancouver after recovering from knee surgery. The 30-year-old is in the second year of an eight-year, $65,100,000 contract and had 15 goals and 34 points in 48 games before his injury.

Wood (lower body) will remain out on Tuesday vs. Minnesota.

Colorado has claimed they are going to play it safe with Miles Wood's lower-body injury as the team nears the playoffs and will have him sit out his second straight game on Tuesday vs. Minnesota. The 28-year-old's 24 points (9G/15A) in his first season in Colorado marks the fifth time in the last six years that he has reached 23+ points but not surpassed more than 27 points.

Rantanen (concussion) is out on Tuesday but is progressing and feeling better.

Rantanen took part in a skate before Colorado's practice Monday but has been announced Tuesday vs. Minnesota as he will be his second-straight game due to a concussion. Avalanche fans can breathe as the 27-year-old is expected back sooner rather than later as he will be likely taking part in the morning skate Tuesday regardless of his in-game distinction. His 102 points in 77 games in 2023-24 marks his second straight 100+ point campaign.

McCann (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day and doubtful to play on Tuesday vs. Arizona.

McCann played 18:30 time-on-ice in Seattle's most recent outing, a 3-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks, but suffered an undisclosed injury at some point and is not expected to play on Tuesday. The 27-year-old McCann has 60 points (28G / 32A) in 75 games this season.

Lindholm (wrist) returned to practice on Monday but is expected to remain out of the lineup.

Lindholm is expected to miss a seventh straight game due to a wrist injury but is nearing his return to the lineup. The 29-year-old Lindholm has struggled since joining the Canucks, scoring only nine points (5G / 4A) in 22 games, but scored a point in consecutive games before exiting the lineup.

Sandin (upper body) will not travel with Washington for their two-game upcoming road trip and is out indefinitely.

Sandin played only 7:09 of ice time before exiting Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators with an upper-body injury. The 24-year-old Sandin has struggled lately, mirroring a Capitals' six-game losing skid, with zero points in his last seven contests.

Couturier (upper body) returned to practice on Monday after missing the last two games.

Couturier played only 3:21 before exiting last Monday's 4-3 loss to the New York Islanders with a shoulder injury. The 31-year-old Couturier has only one point in his last 15 games and is averaging only 10:11 time-on-ice in six games since being a healthy scratch. The Flyers return to the ice on Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens.

Oshie (upper body) was back at practice on Monday after missing the Capitals' last four games.

The Capitals return to the ice on Tuesday in a battle against the Detroit Red Wings for the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference and could desperately use the services of Oshie after missing the last four games, all losses. The veteran forward has had an injury-plagued season and had three points (0G / 3A) in his last four games before his most recent ailment.

Roy (undisclosed) is out on Monday vs. Vancouver and did not travel with Vegas on their current road-trip.

Roy did not play on Friday and will likely miss at least two more games as he did not travel with the Golden Knights on their two-game road trip. Before his injury, Roy has three points (0G / 3A) in his last seven games.

Pietrangelo (illness) is not travelling with Vegas on their upcoming road trip and will miss at least the next two games.

Pietrangelo recently return from a six-game absence and played two games before not playing on Friday. He will miss at least two more games as he recovers from an illness. The 34-year-old defenseman has 33 points (4G / 29A), 141 shots, and 161 blocks in 64 games this season.
