Kotkaniemi will draw into the Hurricanes lineup on Friday.

Kotkaniemi was one of four surprise additions to the Hurricanes' lineup on Friday as Jordan Staal, Jalen Chatfield, Brett Pesce, and Teuvo Teravainen are all out with undisclosed injuries. Tony DeAngelo, Brendan Lemieux, and Scott Morrow will also draw into the lineup.

Morrow is expected to make his NHL debut on Friday.

Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour said the 21-year-old blue-liner will likely make his debut when the Hurricanes travel to St. Louis on Friday. Morrow was the 40th overall selection in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He had six goals and 24 assists in 37 NCAA games this season with the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Scott Morrow
Stephenson (personal) returned to practice on Friday and is expected to suit up vs. Minnesota.

Stephenson most recently played on a line with Tomas Hertl and Michael Amadio but will not play on Wednesday to attend the birth of his child. The 29-year-old Stephenson has 47 points (16G / 31A) in 73 games this season. Brendan Brisson has been sent down to the AHL, indicating that Stephenson is poised to return to the Golden Knights lineup on Friday.

Stecher will draw back into the Oilers' lineup on Friday vs. Arizona.

Cody Ceci will be a healthy scratch on Friday against the Arizona Coyotes, allowing Stecher the re-enter the lineup. The 30-year-old Stecher has six points (1G / 5A), 64 hits, and 76 blocks in 51 games this season.
