Brule was with the Portland Pirates on a professional tryout but signed a one-year, two-way deal on November 30. In 11 games with Portland he netted seven goals and added five assists. He has not played in the NHL since the 2011-12 season when he had 14 points in 33 games with Phoenix.

Zucker has not recorded a point in six games with the Wild this season but while with Iowa he has seven goals and five assists in 16 games.

Miller's call-up lasted two games. He played 11:49 and 9:01 in the two games recording two shots and a minus-2 rating. Aaron Asham was recalled to replace him.

Asham has two assists and 19 PIMs in 12 games with Hartford this season.
Simpson, 21, was drafted 58th overall in the 2010 NHL Draft. He is in his first full season with the Rockford IceHogs and has posted a 6-7-0 record with a 3.38 GAA and .900 SV%. He will accompany the Blackhawks on their trip to Dallas and could stay with the team for an extended period of time, depending on how serious Corey Crawford's injury turns out to be.

Pitlick had been recovering from a knee injury that has kept him out of the lineup since October 26. He could return to the Oilers once he gets back up to speed in the AHL.

Smith recorded one assist in 11 games with the Flames and will return to Abbotsford where he has played just one game this season.

Sceviour, 24, leads the AHL with 18 goals this season and leads all Texas Stars with 30 points in 26 games. The 6-foot, 200-pound forward has played in two career NHL contests, registering one assist. Sceviour was Dallas' fourth-round selection (112th overall) in the 2007 NHL Draft.

McGinn appeared in six games with the Flyers earlier in the season totalling three goals and a plus-1 rating. While in Adirondack the 23-year-old left-winger had five goals and two assists in 18 games. He could draw into the lineup for Zac Rinaldo, who was ejected from Saturday's contest for jumping Antoine Roussel.

Erixon currently leads Springfield in points with 16 (3G / 13A) in 14 games. The 6-foot-2, 200 lbs. defenseman was the 23rd overall pick in the 2009 NHL Draft and has appeared in 32 games over the last two years with the Blue Jackets, tallying five assists and a plus-5 rating. With James Wisniewski out for at least a week, Erixon will battle with David Savard for playing time on Columbus' blueline.

Dumoulin was the 51st overall pick by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2009 NHL Draft. He is currently in his second year with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL) after spending three years at Boston College. The 6-foot-3, 200 lbs. defenseman has one goal and five assists in 22 games this season. With Pittsburgh down three starting D-men, Dumoulin could make his NHL debut tonight.

Kostka has not played since October 19 due to a foot injury. He was sent to Rockford for conditioning but is now back with the big club. The Hawks are pretty deep on the blueline so he likely won't be in the lineup on a nightly basis. He had just eight assists in 35 games with the Maple Leafs last season.

Fraser is in his first year with the Bruins organization after spending 2011-13 with the Dallas Stars. In 23 games with Providence he has 16 goals and five assists (21 points). He will make his Bruins debut tonight vs. Toronto, in 13 career NHL games he has on goal and two assists.

In two games with the Bruins this season Spooner has two assists. While with Providence he has recorded 24 points (5G / 19A) in 21 games. He will slide right into the lineup tonight vs. Toronto.

Hamilton was scoreless in four games for the Sharks in late October. He made his NHL debut on October 21 in Detroit. In 15 games with Worcester, Hamilton has six goals and four assists.

Nieto made the opening night roster and tallied two goals and four assists in 19 games as a rookie. He was reassigned to Worcester on November 26, and on Friday night against Portland, had two goals and three assists in an 8-2 Worcester win. It was one of just two games he played for the minor league Sharks.

Nordstrom recorded one assist in two games during his most recent call-up. His assignment paves the way for Andrew Shaw to return on Sunday.

In 15 games with the Rangers this season he has one goal and one assist with a minus-4 rating. He has been recalled as the Rangers extra forward with Derek Dorsett battling a wrist issue. While in the AHL, Miller racked up five goals and an assist in six games. He was their 15th overall pick in 2011.

Boychuk has not appeared in a game with the Hurricanes this season. In 22 games with Charlotte he recorded nine goals and 19 points with a minus-7 rating. Carolina placed Mike Komisarek on IR in order to recall Boychuk.

Liles has not appeared in a game with the Leafs this season but has three goals and 10 assists in 16 games with the Marlies (AHL).
