Lyon will start on Saturday in Nashville. The Red Wings goalie carousel to start the season will continue on Saturday against the Nashville Predators when Lyon returns to the crease. Detroit has a 1-3-0 record to start the season and they have allowed three or more goals in three games and are desperate to find consistent goaltending. Lyon allowed three goals on 27 shots (.889 SV%) in his only start of the season but was excellent in relief of Cam Talbot in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the New York Rangers when he saved all 15 shots he faced.
