New York Islanders News

Pulock will miss 4-to-6 weeks with a lower-body injury.

This is a huge blow for the Islanders blueline, as Pulock is the team leader in ice-time (21:07). Pulock being out one month opens the door for Sebastian Aho to play big minutes, including on PP1. In two games this season, Aho has played 19:03 ATOI at even-strength and 4:59 on the PP.

Dobson may be a healthy scratch on Monday.

Dobson skated late with the scratches during Monday's morning skate, which signifies he could come out of the lineup for the first time this season. If Dobson does sit, Sebastian Aho would make his season debut. Dobson has no points, a minus-1 rating and 11 shots on goal in his last six games.

The Blues have recalled Scott Perunovich from Springfield (AHL).

Perunovich was the 2020 Hobey Baker Award Winner, posting 40 points (6G / 34A) in 34 games with the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He has absolutely dominated the AHL so far this season as well. As a defenseman, he's currently tied for the league-lead with 20 points (2G / 18A) in 12 games.
