Lappin, 23, has picked up one goal and two assists (three points) in six games with Albany before his call-up. Lappin will make his NHL debut against his childhood favourite, Chicago Blackhawks. Lappin will skate on the Devils’ fourth line.

Gibson allowed one goal on 29 shots in the Ducks’ win over the Predators on Wednesday. Gibson has won three straight starts and also had a great relief appearance mixed in. So far he has three wins with a 2.27 GAA and .913 SV% this season and draws a solid matchup vs. Columbus tonight.
Getzlaf missed Wednesday’s game with an upper-body injury, but took part in the pre-game skate and is expected to play barring a setback. Getzlaf is off to a much-better start than last year, having picked up eight points (1G / 7A) in seven games.
Spurgeon has missed the last four games, but will return to the lineup on Saturday. Spurgeon has picked up one goal and one assist in four games this season. Nate Prosser will likely come out of the lineup to make room for Spurgeon.
Fleury allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Penguins win over the Islanders on Thursday. Fleury has won three of his last four starts while posting a 3.00 GAA and .905 SV%. Tonight he will face the Flyers for the first time this season—Fleury was 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .918 SV% in two games against the rival Philadelphia Flyers.
Theodore has appeared in three straight games and his demotion and promotion was just salary manipulation. Theodore has picked up one assist in three games since being recalled.
Rantanen played on a four-game conditioning stint with San Antonio (AHL), where he had two assists. Rantanen has been recalled to make his season debut and it will come on the top-line with Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog.
McLeod played in the last three games, but will be replaced by John Mitchell on Friday night. McLeod doesn’t carry and fantasy relevance.
Mitchell has missed the first five games of the season with a hip flexor injury, but will play tonight vs. the Jets. Mitchell will replace Cody McLeod in the lineup and is expected to skate with Andreas Martinsen and Joe Colborne.
Carr has not made it into the Canadiens’ lineup since October 15th. He picked up one assist in two games, but heads back to St. John’s (AHL) where he had 21 points (10G / 11A) in 24 games a season ago.
Pastrnak has had a great start to the season, but will miss Saturday’s game in Detroit and Tuesday’s game in Florida after being suspended for a hit on Girardi on Wednesday.
Talbot allowed one goal on 35 shots in the Oilers win over the Capitals on Wednesday. Talbot is on fire to start the 2016-17 season, winning six of his first seven starts with an impressive 2.49 GAA, .927 SV% and one shutout. He is a must-start on Friday against a Canucks team that is last in the NHL in scoring (2.00 G/PG).
Miller allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Canucks loss to the Senators on Tuesday. After opening the season with a win, Miller has dropped two games in a row while allowing a combined six goals on 64 shots (.906 SV%). He’s in for a long night again on Friday—he faces an Oilers team that is tied for the NHL-lead in goals (3.86).
Elliott stopped 23 of 24 shots in the Flames’ win in St. Louis on Tuesday. After a rough start to his Flames’ career, Elliott has won two in a row while turning aside 54 of 57 shots (.947 SV%). Elliott has been brilliant this week, but draws a rough matchup vs. the Senators who are averaging 3.33 goals per game.
McIlrath only appeared in one game this season, sitting as a healthy scratch in six games of the first seven games. McIlrath went unclaimed, so he’ll go back to Hartford, where he had 17 points (6G / 11A) in 73 games in 2014-15.
Rask has missed the last three games, but he practiced on Friday and will travel to Detroit for Saturday’s game. The Bruins are expected to send either Malcolm Subban or Zane McIntyre to Providence (AHL), which lends some hope that Rask will be able to start.
Skinner missed Tuesday’s game in Detroit, but took part in Friday’s morning skate and will be a game-time decision for the Hurricanes’ home opener vs. the Rangers. Skinner has enjoyed a hot-start to the season, picking up six points (2G / 4A) in five games this season.
Ward allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Hurricanes’ loss in Detroit on Tuesday. Ward has lost his first three starts of the season while posting an ugly 4.03 GAA and .848 SV%. Ward draws a difficult matchup against a Rangers team that has won three in a row and five of their first seven games.
Little was injured in the season opener and is not expected to be in the lineup in November. With Little moved to IR, the Jets have recalled Marko Dano from Manitoba (AHL).
The Jets placed Bryan Little on IR to make room for Dano, who has picked up two assists in six games with Manitoba this season. Dano spent some time with the Jets last year, picking up eight points (4G / 4A) in 21 games.
