Gibson was pulled from Tuesday’s game vs. the Kings after being hit in the mask with a shot and is still in concussion protocol. Gibson stopped 30 of 33 shots and left in a 3-3 tie and Ryan Miller eventually came in an lost in OT. Miller gets the nod Thursday with Gibson temporarily sidelined.

With Gibson in concussion protocol, Miller will start tonight vs. his former team and comes in with a 2.13 GAA and .946 SV% in three appearances. The Canucks comes in having lost three of their last five while averaging 2.40 goals for per game.

Mrazek stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Red Wings shutout win over the Oilers on Sunday. Mrazek has played well so far this season, stopping 145 of the 157 shots (.924 SV%) that he has faced in four starts and one relief appearance. Tonight he faces a Flames team that is second last in the NHL in scoring, averaging just 2.40 goals per game.

Lindgren allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Canadiens win over the Golden Knights on Tuesday. Lindgren has won each of his first two starts since being recalled from Laval (AHL) while stopping 67 of 69 shots (.971 SV%). He makes for another interesting option tonight against a Wild team that has lost three in a row and come in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Hansen has been a healthy scratch for the last six games but will draw back in tonight vs. the Lightning—he takes Kevin Labanc's spot in the lineup. Hansen has just one assist in seven games this season.

Budaj allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Ducks on October 28th. Budaj has struggled in his two starts this season, allowing a combined eight goals on just 55 shots (.855 SV%). Tonight he faces a Kings team that has gone 5-1-1 in their last seven games while averaging 3.29 goals for per game.

Vlasic missed Saturday’s game vs. the Ducks, but is expected to play tonight vs. the Lightning. Vlasic will replace Dylan DeMelo in the lineup and enters play with one goal and three assists (four points) in 12 games this season.

Vasilevskiy gave up four goals on 34 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Blue Jackets on Saturday. Vasilevskiy has won 11 of his first 13 starts to kick-off 2017-18 while posting a 2.52 GAA and .924 SV%. He has given up a lot of goals, but the Lightning lead the NHL in goals for, so expect him to continue to rack up the wins.

Jones stopped 25 of 26 shots in the Sharks’ win over the Ducks on Saturday. The win extended Jones’ winning streak to three—he has stopped 60 of 64 shots (.938 SV%) over that stretch. Jones has been excellent through his first 10 starts of 2017-18, going 7-3-0 with a 1.98 GAA and .930 SV.

Drouin left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return. Drouin missed Wednesday’s practice and head coach Claude Julien said that there’s a 50/50 chance he will play Thursday against Minnesota.
