Hemsky returned to the Stars lineup last night and posted two assists in 13:01 TOI. However, he must have been banged up last night because he is questionable for tonight’s contest. He will be replaced by Brendan Ranford if he can’t go.

The Ducks have placed Ilya Bryzgalov on waivers.

With John Gibson winning three of five during his call-up and Frederik Andersen set to return from injury, the Ducks have placed Bryzgalov on waivers in order to activate Andersen from IR. Having gone 1-4-1 with a 4.19 GAA and .847 SV%, we might have seen the last of Bryzgalov in the NHL.

Ilya Bryzgalov
Zepp will start on back-to-back days.

Zepp made 20 saves on 22 shots in the Flyers 3-2 shootout win over the Predators last night. He is 4-1-0 with a 2.73 GAA and .892 SV% this season, but he is a risky start on no rest against a pretty talented Washington squad.

Robert Zepp
Zetterberg left Saturday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Zetterberg played just 11:24 before retiring to the locker room with an upper-body injury. There was no word on how serious the injury is, but the Red Wings will keep their fingers crossed that they don’t lose their captain for an extended period of time. The Wings went on to win 7-6 in OT without Zetty.
