Mazanec allowed two goals on 20 shots after coming in for Carter Hutton in his only NHL appearance this season. He got in some work with Milwaukee during the All Star break, but is ready to pick things up as the Preds’ number-2, starting Tuesday vs. Colorado.

Rinne has been out since January 15th, but is nearly two weeks into a 3-5 week timetable. Yesterday he skated prior to the team, which is a good sign that he is on track in his recovery. Look for him to skate alone for a few days, before he joins the team for practice.
Ebbett has one goal and five assists in 18 games with the Penguins this season. With WBS he has recorded 20 points (7G / 13A) in 19 games.
Wilson has been out with a lower-body injury since early December that he suffered in his NHL debut. He has 19 points (8G / 11A) in 26 games with WBS this year. He could be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Jets after skating on the third line in practice yesterday.
Harrington appeared in three of the Penguins final four games before the All Star break. Overall he has no points and a minus-9 rating in nine games with Pittsburgh this season. Look for him to be paired with Rob Scuderi tonight vs. the Jets.
Rust, 22, has a goal and one assist in 14 games with the Penguins this season. In his time with WBS, he has registered 10 goals and five assists in 28 games. He skated on the Penguins fourth line in practice on Monday, so there is a chance he does not play on Tuesday.
Lessio recorded his first career NHL goal in the Coyotes final game before the All Star break. He has one goal and one assist with a minus-3 rating in nine games to this point.
Granlund has been sidelined since December 27th, but will be back in the lineup tonight in Edmonton. After a great sophomore season, 2014-15 has not gone Granlund’s way. He has just 15 points (4G / 11A) in 32 games so far.
Hiller allowed one goal on 15 shots after replacing Joni Ortio in the Flames final game before the All Star break. He has yet to pick up a win in January, going 0-3-0 with a 3.81 GAA and .867 SV%. With Ortio still in the minors following the break, Hiller will look to reassert himself atop the depth chart with a win over the Sabres tonight.
Price allowed one goal on 37 shots in a 2-1 win over the Predators before the All Star break. He has gone 4-1-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .934 SV% in January. Price is t-4th in Wins (24), fifth in GAA (2.15) and SV% (.929). Tonight he will face the Stars and their fourth ranked offence (3.09 G/PG).
Gionta has been out since December 21st, but will be back in the lineup on Tuesday in Calgary. Gionta was back on a line with Torrey Mitchell and Brian Flynn. He has four goals and seven assists in 34 games.
Shore had one assist in three games with the Kings before the All Star break. The Kings placed Mike Richards on waivers this morning which suggests that Shore’s call-up will be permanent this time around. He has 42 points (20G / 22A) in 38 games with Manchester this season.
Ellis will join the Sabres for his second recall of the 2014-15 season after appearing in four NHL games leading up to the All-Star break. In parts of nine NHL seasons with the Sabres, Los Angeles Kings and Detroit Red Wings, Ellis has appeared in 321 games and recorded 47 points (20G / 27A).
Hackett who began the season on injured reserve with the Sabres, returns to Buffalo after joining the Americans before the AHL All-Star break in January for his first three starts of the season, going 1-2-0 with a 3.10 GAA and .886 SV%. He has been recalled because Michal Neuvirth is out with a lower-body injury.
Neuvirth will miss at least one-week with a lower-body injury. With Neuvirth out, Matt Hackett has been recalled and will share the crease with Jhonas Enroth.
Perreault has missed the last two games with an arm injury that he suffered on January 16th vs. the Blackhawks. His return to practice this afternoon suggests that he could play on Tuesday. Monitor his status during Tuesday’s morning skate.
Jokipakka, 23, has five assists in 19 games with the Stars this season. While in Texas he has registered five points (3G / 2A) in 17 games.
Oleksiak, 22, has one goal and seven assists (8 points) in 31 games with Dallas this season. With Trevor Daley sidelined, Oleksiak will likely get an full-time opportunity on the Stars blue line.
Rinaldo has a history of suspensions, which clearly played a role in the length of his suspension. He is not eligible to return until February 17th vs. the Blue Jackets.
Everberg had one assist in four games with the Avalanche before the All Star break. Overall, he has one goal and four assists in 23 games this season.
